请问holiday与festival有什么区别？谢谢！

不知道，也想知道!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

也很纳闷，节日，假日重复的那部分呢？不明白。

■holiday=a period of time when you are not at work or school◆假日、假期；
■festival=a day or a period of the year when people stop working to celebrate a special event,often a religious one◆节日

holiday，是假日，可以是全国性的，也可由某个单位而定，festival是全国性的传统的假日。

festival 尤指宗教的节日或定期在某地举行的如嘎纳电影节。holiday 指公共假日或节日。在英国尤指不用去上班，上学的节日。仅是个人观点，谨慎使用。
