一、教学目标

1.四会：letter ,penfriend ,Can I have...? What for? I want to...

2.三会词组和日常交际用语：read，envelope，both，address，writing paper，I hope so.

3.理解课文大意，能在相似的情景中运用所学语言表达真实的思想。

二、教学重难点

三、教学准备

课件，信纸，信封，板书，学生的信

四、教学过程

Step 1 Warming up

1.Greetings

2.Free talk

   Can I have your name？

What’s your favourite subject?

   ...

Step 2 Presentation

1.由 Free talk 引出 both，板书并带读。

2.呈现“Fast reading”，由“Fast reading”引出 penfriend，再到 letter（新授）

3.T：What do I need？

引导学生A pen，some stamps，writing paper（新），envelope（新）。【呈现实物】，通过看实物信封，介绍信封上的名字，地址（新)，并介绍老师的e-mail address.

4.听录音，回答:What does Liu Tao need？并引出重点句型：Can I have ...？What for？I want to...,在教师示范后，让学生操练并编对话。

5.听录音，回答问题：Who does Liu Tao want to write to？What did he do yesterday afternoon？

6.让学生问一些关于Peter 的问题，接着呈现并朗读妈妈的问题，然后听录音找出答案。

7.T：What is Liu Tao’s hobby？

   S：He likes listening to music and making model planes.

   T：So they both have the same hobbies。I hope they’ll be good friends.Do you hope so？

   S：（引导学生）Yes，I hope so .（新授）

8.听录音回答Peter 的信息。

Step 3 Consolidation

1.Read the text in groups.

2.Try to retell the text.(教师在课件上给提示）

3.Read a letter from a new penfriend ,write the information down.

4.Introduce your penfriend.

Step 4 Homework

1.Read the text and try to retell it.

2.Tell your friends or your parents about your penfriend.

3.Write a letter to your penfriend.
