  (5) to sit in contemplative mood; a contemplative scholar; a contemplative life; (寺院生涯)
  Contemplator(沉思者,凝视者);be contemplative of (注视着)

(九)illustrate,illustrated (adj./n.); illustration, illustrative;
(1) The mother bought her children many beautifully illustrated books. (illustrator)
(2) A complicated rule can be illustrated by a simple example.
   This illustrates his generosity/ selfishness to his friends. (说明)
(4)        This is a typical illustration of his meanness. (例子)
He cited instances in illustration of this theory.(说明)
Illustration is used in teaching children. (图示法)

(十)illusion, illusory/illusive;
(1) She still cherished the illusion that he loved her. (错误的想法)

(十一)Seclude, seclusion
