Unit7 At Christmas (第一课时)

一、教学目标:
     1、初步理解单词yours, mine, hers, his, ours, theirs。
2、能听得懂、会说、会读单词 a watch, a teapot, a wallet, a calculator, a skateboard, a hairdryer。
3、能听得懂、会说、会读日常交际用语 This one is from Grandma. Open it for me, please. Who are they from? They are from Grandma. You’re welcome.
4、能初步感悟重点句型Whose … is it/are they? It’s/They’re mine/yours/his/hers/ours.
5、能够简单地复述课文。
5、让学生了解西方在送礼与受礼时的习俗。
二、教学重点:
让学生能过在情景中能运用重点句型Whose … is it/are they? It’s/They’re mine/yours/his/hers/ours/theirs.
三、教学难点:
学生能够在一定的情景下正确使用名词性物主代词。
四、教学准备:
有关物品的实物,单词卡片及多媒体课件等。
五、教学过程:
Step 1 Warming up.
1.Greetings.
2.Free talk
What’s your favourite holiday?
My favourite holiday is…
When’s …?
What do people usually do …?
Step 2 Presentation
1.Prensent the title.
T: Today is the thirtieth of November.What holiday is coming ?
S: Christmas.
T: Today , we’ll learn the new lesson Unit 7 At Christmas.
  2. Present “Christmas presents”
  T: Do you know something about Christmas ?
  S1:…
  S2…
  T: Yes . At Christmas , people usually give presents to each other. Look , I’ve got a present . What’s this ?
  Ss: It’s a watch.
  T: Yes , it’s for me . (板书for) It’s mine. Who is it from(板书from) Guess!
  Let the students guess.
3. Present the new words.
  Now ,look at the screen . Here are some Christmas presents .What are they ? Learn the new words: a watch, a teapot, a wallet, a calculator, a skateboard, a hairdryer.
Step 3 Listen , read and say
1. Present the members of Jim’s family.
2. Present the text.
  T:On Christmas Day , Jim’s family were in Jim’s grandparents’ house. They were talking about Chrismas . Now , let’s watch the cartoon and try to find what presents are they talking about .
(1) Watch the cartoon.
(2) Check out the answers.
3. Read the text freely.
  (1) Question: Who are the presents for?
  (2) Check out the answers(put the family pictures on the correct order).
4. Read the text again.
  (1) Question : Who are the presents from?
  (2) Check out.
5. Present “Everybody was very excited.”
  T: They all got their presents . So everybody was very excited.(板书)
6. Read after the tape.
7. Present “mine””yours””hers””his”
  T: What does mine/yours/hers mean? Can you find the other words like them?
Step 4 Retell the text.
Step 5 Consolidation
  Christmas is coming . What presents would you like to give to your parents ? Why ?
Step 6 Homework
1.Retell the text after class.
2.Prepare a Christmas present for your parents or your friends.

教学反思:
本单元话题是“谈论物品的归属”,通过Jim一家在圣诞节互赠礼物这一情景引出主要的内容,即名词性物主代词。通过本课的学习,要求学生能在一定的情景是正确使用名词性物主代词,理解名词性物主代词与形容词性物主代词的区别,更重要的是结合学生的实际生活,创造生动活泼的情景,引导学生在使用中记忆和巩固。  
在本节课中,我从Free Talk开始谈起,复习前两个单元所学的节日,接着由“What holiday is coming?”很自然的引入新课,引出本课标题:Unit 7 At Christmas.并通过What do you know about Christmas?自然而然地引出课文中的圣诞礼物,学习新单词。
在课文学习时,我让学生有充分的阅读时间,每次都让他们带着问题去自由读课文,小组合作解决难题,实现了任务型的教学,体现了学生的自主性。
通过本节课的学习,学生能按要求四会掌握本课的词汇和句型,在具体操练中,也能结合自己的实际,真正把英语运用到日常生活中去。在导入、新授、操练、等活动中,学生能积极参与教学当中,能集中注意力,保持很高的热情,积极与他人配合,运用所学英语知识进行表达和交流,听、说、读等方面的能力都有了一定程度的提高。
但是,在高年级的教学中,应该是听说读写多方面的结合,本节课的教学中缺少了写的训练,在以后的备课中我会对这个问题加以重视。
