二、 教学目标
1. 能听得懂、会说,会读单词a pair of jeans, a pair of gloves, a pair of socks, a pair of shorts和a scarf.并会拼写单词a pair of shoes, a sweater, a jacket, big, small, long和short.
2. 能听得懂、会说、会读和会写句型Whose …is this/ are they? It’s/ They’re …. The… is/ are too….
3. 能理解’s的含义。

五、 教学过程
Step 1: Free talk
1. T: Good morning, …. S: Good morning, Miss Chen.
What’s this in English? It’s a ….
Where’s the …? It’s on/ in the….
2. Students work in pairs.
Step 2: Presentation and practice
1. T: Boys and girls, first let’s look at a flash. Tell me what are they talking about?
(Students watch a flash about Teachers’ Day.)
S: They’re talking about the Teachers’ Day.
T: Good! On Teachers’ Day, I’ve got two presents. Can you guess what are they?
Teach two new words: a sweater, a pair of socks. Pay attention to: a pair of. Students read after the tape for several times.
2. T: Look, who’s coming? S: Miss Li.
T: Yes. Miss Li have got some presents, too. Look! What are they? Now I’ll show you.
Teach two new words: a pair of gloves, a scarf and a pair of shoes. Students read after the tape.
3. Teach the new words: a jacket, a pair of jeans and a pair of shorts in the same way.
4. Play a game: Say quickly!
Step 3: New drills
1. (课件出示一围巾)T: What’s this in English? S: It’s a scarf.
Whose scarf is it? It’s Miss Li’s.
Students work in pairs.
2. T: Whose gloves are they? S: They’re Miss Li’s.
Students do some pairworks.
3. Show four pictures of Part C. Students work in pairs.
4. Say a rhyme:
Scarf, scarf, whose scarf?
Miss Li, Miss Li, it’s Miss Li’s.
Shoes, shoes, whose shoes?
Helen, Helen, they’re Helen’s.
Gloves, gloves, whose gloves?
Mike, Mike, they’re Mike’s.
5. T:Look, who’s she? S: She’s Su Hai.
What’s wrong with her? Let’s look.
Students learn the new word too, and the new sentences: The dress is too big. The jeans are too long.
6. Practice and say (Show three pictures)
Picture 1: The gloves are too big.
Picture 2: The shoes are too small.
Picture 3: The jeans are too long.
7. Look, read and complete (Part D)

Step 4: Consolidation
1. T: Since now we have learnt so much, let’s have a rest to watch a flash. Pay attention these two questions:
a. Whose jacket is this?
b. Whose socks are they?
2. Make a short dialogue
A: Good morning, ….
B: Good morning, ….
A: Whose … is it/ are they?
B: It’s/ They’re …’s.
A: I’m sorry.
Students work in pairs.
Step 5: Homework
1. Copy the new words of this unit four times.
2. Make up a new dialogue as we have learnt.
