Ⅰ. Teaching Aims:
1. Knowledge Aims:
(1) To master the new words: Hello /   Hi, Su Hai, Wang Bing, Helen, Mike.
(2) To master the important sentences: Hello, I’m…/Hi, I’m…
2. Ability Aims:
      Students can use the sentences to greet and introduce themselves.
3. Emotion Aims:
(1)Let students know how to introduce themselves and how to greet other people.
(2).Train the interst of learning English.
(3)Make Ss have a good havit of speaking English frequently in their daily life.
Ⅱ. Teaching Important Point:
1. To master the new words: Hello!Hi!Su Hai, Wang Bing, Helen, Mike.
2. To master the important sentences: Hello, I’m…/Hi, I’m…

To use the sentences correctly

Word cards, pictures, recorder, tape
Ⅴ.Teaching Courses:
Step1. Greeting
    This is the first English lesson, T should teach Ss the class language, such as: Class begins/Stand up/Sit down, please / Hello, boys and girls.
Step2. Free talk
T: Class begins.
S: Stand up.
T: Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, Miss Pang.
T: Sit down, please.
introduce myself to you. Let the students to read and say “Miss Pang.”
Read after the teacher for several times. Then try it again.
Step3. Presentation.
1. Present the new words
(1)   I’m Miss Pang, how about you? Introduce yourself!
Teach: I’m
Read and check the pronunciation.
(2). T: Today, I’ll introduce my friends to you.
Present two masks of Su Hai and Mike. They’re my good friends.
Teach and say: Hello, I’m Su Hai.
Hello, I’m Mike.
2Know and read :Su Hai and Mike.
3.T: When we meet someone, we should say “Hello!” Now, let’s say “Hello!” to Su Hai and Mike.
Lead the students to greet Su Hai: Hello! Su Hai.
4.Now, let’s listen to the tape.
Listen and try to understand the dialogue.
Step4 Practice.
1. Present the sentence structures
(1)Let’s read the dialogue together.
(2)Can you act the dialogue?
(3)Can you make dialogues like this?
T:Hello,I’m Miss Pang.
S:Hello,Miss Pang. I’m    ...
2. Present the other pictures :Wang Bing and Helen.
Ask some students to greet them: Hello/Hi, Wang Bing/ Helen.
Read and say the four words: Su Hai, Wang Bing, Helen, Mike.
Step5. Consolidation
1.Play a game: What’s missing?
Using the four words: Su Hai, Wang Bing, Helen, Mike.
2.Let students introduce themselves with their deskmates.
3.Ask some students to say out their dialogues.
Step6. Homework
1.Listen to the tape four times.
2.Read the new words and the dialogue.
