Mini play    Tiger and Fox
Characters: Fox, Tiger, Hares, Deer, Wolves and Birds.
Story teller: There is a fox who wants to show his power in the forest. But only small animals like rabbits and sheep are afraid of him. The wolf never minds him. One day, the fox sees a tiger walking towards him. The fox says:“ Ha! Ha! It’s a good chance!” And then he runs to the tiger.
Fox: Hello, Mr Tiger!
Tiger: Hello, Mr Fox!
Fox: How are you?
Tiger: Fine, thank you. But I’m hungry now. Go and get some food for me .
Fox: (skewing at  Tiger) No, I won’t go. I’m not afraid of you now.
Tiger: (staring at Fox) I’ll kill you.
Story Teller: Seeing that the tiger will eat him, the fox suddenly gives a loud cry.
Fox: (complacently) Ha-ha, do you know I’m the king of the forest!
Tiger: (angrily) Nonsense! I am the king of the forest!
Fox: No, you are not. I am.
Tiger: Why?
Fox: All the animals are afraid of me.
Tiger: I don’t believe you.
Fox: You don’t believe me?
Tiger: No, I don’t, I don’t.
Fox: Let’s go to the jungle and see. Then you’ll believe me.
Tiger: OK. Let’s go.
Fox: I’ll go ahead.
Tiger: Hm—I’ll follow you.
(Fox smiles sinisterly)
Story teller: The tiger and the fox are walking to the depth of the forest. The fox goes ahead, walking while roaring roar artificially .
Hares: Ah, the tiger is coming. We must run away.
Fox: Ha, ha—all the hares are running away!
Tiger: Yes, I see.
Deer: Ah! The tiger is coming. We must run away!
Fox: All the deer are running away!
Tiger: I see.
Wolves: Ah! The tiger is coming. We must run away!
Fox: All the wolves are running away!
Tiger: I see.
Fox: They are all afraid of me.
Tiger: Yes, it’s sure.
Fox: So I’m the king of the forest.
Tiger: Yes, you are the king of the forest.
Story teller: But now the birds in the sky are flying and twittering.
Birds : The fox is cunning.
Fox: cunning? No, I’m not cunning. I’m clever.
Birds: The tiger is stupid.
Tiger: What?
Birds: You have been tricked.
Tiger: (angrily) You, cruel birds, get away!
Birds: Ha, ha ---You see how stupid the tiger is !
