Ask and answer in pairs.

学生模仿跟读录音。

翻译下列短语。

通过此项活动帮助学生复习形容词的比较级。

通过师生交流引出课文中新句型I’older than…...　　　　2.板书old和older进行教学同时让学生理解。
3. 出示音标让学生试读，然后集体升降调朗读。
4. 引出 young和younger的学习。
Su Yang's twenty minutes younger than Su Hai.Su Hai--Su Yang's twenty minutes younger than me.
5.T: How old are you?
S1:  I’m 12 years old.
T:   How old is he?
Ss: He’s 11 years old.

6.师生问答，引出as…as…
T：Are you as tall as him？
T：Yes，I am taller than him.引出tall和taller的学习。
 

（1）教师头戴Ben面具, 左手拿Jack面具，右手拿Su Hai面具。 教师创设情境，向大家展示三人相遇场景，  
（2）教师出示任务，让学生带着问题自由阅读课文。
（3）分段提示，学生复述。　
（4）四人一小组，课文内容表演。
