Unit 1  A New Student
一、Teaching Aim(教学目标)
1. Phonetics: (know)
辅音字母w和z在单词中的读音。
2. New Words (4 cans): student, teacher, doctor, nurse, boy, girl, man, woman, new.
3. Everyday Sentences:
    (1) 3 cans: Welcome to our school.  Who’s the boy in the tree?  Come down, ….  All right.  Don’t climb trees again.  Yes, sir.  I’m new here.
    (2) 4 cans: Who’s that …? He’s / She’s …. He’s / She’s a ….  Are you …? Yes, I am. / No, I’m not. I’m a ….
4. Song: Who’s that girl?

(1) Who’s this boy? (Who’s that boy?) (Learn “student”, spell)
(2) Who’s this girl? (Who’s that girl?)
3. Do you know these men and women?(Show the photo: Miss Li, Miss Gao, Miss King, Mr Green, Mrs Green)
(1)Who’s this man? ( Who’s that man?) (Learn “teacher”)

Step 3. Play a game: Listen and guess

Step 4. Read and say (Show the picture of part A)
1. T: Who’s this boy? (Point at Ben)
S: He’s Ben. He’s a student.
T: Yes, He is. He’s new here.
2. Talk to Ben
S: Hello, Ben. Nice to meet you.
B: Hello, Nice to meet you,too. I’m new here.
S: Welcome to our school.
Learn: I’m new here. Welcome to our school.
3. Read after the tape.
4. Work in pairs to read the text.
5. Read the text together.
Step 5. Act the dialogue
A: Hello, I'm Ben. I’m New here.
B: Hello, I’m …. Nice to meet you. Welcome to our school.
A: Thank you. Who’s that woman?
B: She’s Miss Li. She’s our English teacher.
