一、        Teaching aims
1、        能听懂、会说、会读、会拼写单词cold、hot、hungry、thirsty.
2、        能听懂、会说、会读句型What’s the matter? I’m --- Here’s --- for you. Thank you.
3、        能用贴切的形容词表述自己的感觉。
二、        Teaching preparation
1、        夹克衫、扇子、蛋糕、果汁、水、苹果、牛奶、火柴、贴画。
2、        课件、板书卡纸。
三、        Teaching procedure
Step 1: Warming up
1、        课前播放歌曲What’s the matter?
2、        Greetings
3、        Free talk
What’s your name?
Nice to meet you.
How are you?
I’d like --- What would you like?
Oh,here’s --- for you.
Step 2:Presentation and practice
1、        教学cold及句型What’s the matter? I’m --- Here’s --- for you. Thank you.
(课件出示冬天图片、风声)
T: The winter is coming. I’m cold.
教学cold. 领读、指读、拼读、齐读(low to high)、升降读(加动作)
T:Who can act?
T: What’s the matter?
S1:I’m cold.
教学What’s the matter? 领读、指读、升降读(分大组)
T: ask me.
Ss:What’s the matter?
T: I’m cold. What’s the matter?
Ss: I’m cold.
一组选几个人开火车问
Work in groups.  Act out.
教学What’s the matter? I’m --- Here’s --- for you. Thank you.
(拿出夹克衫)
T: What’s the matter?
S1: I’m cold.
T: Here’s a jacket for you.
S1:Thank you.
领读Here’s a jacket for you. Thank you.
男女互问。
2、        教学hot及句型What’s the matter? I’m --- Here’s --- for you. Thank you.
T: We are cold now. Let”s do some exercise. Stand up. Follow me.

Swim swim swim swim swim
Play play play football
Play play play basketball
T: Are you cold now? I’m hot.
教学hot. 领读、指读、拼读、齐读(high to low)、升降读(加动作)
T:Who can act?
(拿出扇子)
T: What’s the matter?
S1:I’m hot.
T: Here’s a fan for you.
S1:Thank you.
一组男女互问。
Work in groups.  Act out.
巩固cold、hot及句型What’s the matter? I’m ---
T;Let’s chant:
Matter, matter ,What’s the matter?
Cold ,cold ,I’m cold..
Matter, matter ,What’s the matter?
Hot ,hot ,I’m hot..
T:Who can? Together.Together.(加节奏)
3、        教学hungry,thirsty及句型What’s the matter? I’m --- Here’s --- for you. Thank you.
(指一些食物和饮料)
T:There’s some food and drinks here. I’m hungry and thirsty.
教学hungry,thirsty. 领读、指读、拼读、齐读(123 321)、升降读(加动作)
T: Make a chant in groups.

Hungry , hungry ,I’m hungry..

T: Let’s sing a song.(加节奏)
(课件出现男孩饿渴图片、蛋糕、果汁)

一组同桌拿蛋糕和扇子操练
Work in pairs.  Act out.

C:I’m thirsty.
T: Here’s a glass of water for you.
C: Thank you.
教学a glass of water. 领读、指读、升降读(分大组)
小组问、电脑答,小组之间互问。
Step 3.Consolidation
1、Game: What’s missing?
cold、hot、hungry、thirsty.

T:Who can read? Guess:What’s missing?

2、        Make a breakthrough.
一颗星  正确读出下列单词:cold、hot、hungry、thirsty
两颗星  根据所给图片完成句子:

      情景3:你发现你的朋友没吃午饭,于是你决定。。。
     情景4:老师刚上完课,讲得口干舌燥,你说。。。
Step 4.Production

(课件出现卖火柴的小女孩图片、配乐、师朗读)
T: I’m the little match girl. Who can help me?        T 与S123表演
