Step 1 Review part A
1. Act out part A.
2. Have a dictation.
Step 2 Presentation
1. Show a part of lion. Ask Ss to guess “what’s this ?”
Arrange teaching procedures according to students.
2. Hide a rabbit in the bookcase.
T: What’s that?
S: It’s a rabbit.
3. Put a bear in the box. Ask Ss to touch and guess.
T: What’s this? Do you want to know? Touch it and tell me.
S: It’s a bear.
4. Magic eyes.
Show pictures of dog, cat, tiger, panda, and monkey quickly.
Encourage Ss to speak out the name of each animal.
Read these words together.
Step 3 Practice
1. Show part of each picture.
Ask Ss to make dialogues with their partners according to the pictures.
(Teacher may give Ss an example.)
2. Give a performance.
3. Ask students to put some of their toys in the big box, some on the teachers’ desk.(My, your, his and her)
T: Look, I have a beautiful bear. It’s my bear.
This is your lion, I think.
S: No, it isn’t.
T: This is your lion, I think.
S: Yes, it is.
T: That is his rabbit, I think. (Point to the rabbit on the bookcase.)

4. Make dialogues of part D.
Step 4 Production
Use the sentences “What’s this/that? It’s… This is /That’s your/his/her…, I think. Yes, it is. No, it isn’t.” to make dialogues.
Step 5 Homework
1. Copy the new words of part B
2. Finish the dialogue of part C/D on the exercise book.
3. Read after the tape 30 minutes.
