4A Unit 4 I like…
主备:
1.        Be able to read and understand the meaning of the new words: puppet, kite, and puzzle.
2.        Be able to use the phrases or sentences “in English” “Do you like puppets?” “” “Yes, I do. No I don’t.” “I love dolls.”  “Me, too.” and “Thank you very much.” properly.
3.        Be able to understand and read the dialogue.
4.        Encourage Ss to act out the dialogue.
5.        Key points: 1. Be able to read and understand the meaning of the new words: puppet, kite, and puzzle. 2. Difficult points: To act out the dialogue in class.
教学过程
Step 1 Pre-reading
1.        Play a game “Me, too”.
Show the sentences “I’m…/ I like …/ I have …” “Me, too” on the screen.
T: I’m Miss Bi. I like playing basketball. How about you?
S: Me. Too.
T: I’m Miss Bi. I have a rubber.
S: Me. Too.
2.        Learn the words: puppet, kite, puzzle.
T: Look, what’s that over there? (Point to the picture of a puppet.)
S: It’s a puppet.
T: Good. Read after me, please.
(Write the word on the blackboard and ask Ss to read it one by one.)
T: Look, what’s that in English? (Point to the picture of a kite.)
S: It’s a kite.
T: Good. Let’s read it together.
(Write the word on the blackboard and ask Ss to read it one by one.)
T: Do you like kites?
S1: Yes, I do.        S2: No, I don’t.
T: Look, what’s this in English? (Point to the picture of a puzzle.)
S: It’s a puzzle.
T: Read after … please..
(Write the word on the blackboard and ask Ss to read it one by one.)
T: Do you like puzzles?
S1: Yes, I do.        S2: No, I don’t.
T: Do you like this puzzle? (The picture of part A.)
S1: Yes, I do.        S2: No, I don’t.
3.        Look at the picture of part A.
T: Look, Yang Ling and Nancy are in the sitting-room. What’s on the sofa?
S1: A puppet.   S2: A puzzle.    S3: Some dolls.
T: Do you like dolls?
S: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
T: I love dolls. (Show it on the screen.)
Step 2 While-reading
1. Answer the questions after listening to the tape.
  What does Yang Ling like?
  T: Let’s watch the cartoon and answer the question.
  S1.: She likes kites.   S2: she likes puzzles.
  S3: She likes dolls.
2. Read after the tape.
3. Read the dialogue in pairs.
Step 3 Post-reading.
1.        Act out the dialogue in pairs.
2.        Ask some volunteers to give performances.
Step4 Homework.
1.        跟读课文15分钟。
2.        默写单词或词组 1+1。
3.        背诵课文。
4.        家长签字。
