Step 1 Review the key words.
1. Brain-storming
Show the pictures of the key words of unit3-4 on the blackboard.
T: What’s that?
S: It’s a …
T: Is this/that a …
S: Yes, it is. No, it isn’t.
2. To have a dictation on these key words.
Step 2 Review the key sentences.
1. Make dialogues with students.
T: What’s that? Guess. (Show a part of a picture of a student’s bottle on the screen.)
S: It’s a …, I think.
S: Perhaps it’s a …
T: It’s a bottle. Where is the bottle?
S: It’s on the chair.
T: Whose bottle is it? Guess.
S1: It’s …’s, I think.
T: …, is this your bottle?
S2: No, it isn’t
S3: Perhaps it’s …’s.
S4: Is this your bottle?
S5: Yes, it is.
2. Write the key sentences of unit3-4 on the blackboard.
(When write the sentences, I ask students to read after me.)
3. Ask students to make sentences using these sentences.
(Show two pictures and ask Ss to make dialogues.)
Step 3 Finish the exercises on the page41-42.
1. Ask Ss to talk about the pictures on page41-42.
(Give Ss some instruction and clues to help them fill in the blanks.)
2. Finish the exercises and check the answers.
3. If some students make some mistakes, correct them and give explanations.
Step 4. Finish the exercises on page 43.
1. Give an example to students.
