The students can improve their logical thinking ability and reading ability and will learn to how to learn a new word based on the words they have learned.
Emotional aims:
The students will learn to cherish their life and learn to how to call help when they get lost. The students will get to know how to keep themselves safe and happy when they are on a camping trip and can realize their life value of “Each dog has its day!”

Computer, blackboard, PPT.

Phonics methods, discourse teaching and task based reading.
Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Introduction
1. Teacher will introduce himself to the students:
T: Hello, everyone, I am your new English teacher today. My name is Song. I am from Liyang, a beautiful city. I like playing basketball and going camping. Can you tell me something about yours?
2. Some students will introduce themselves to me (此处采用语篇的教学方法),选择几位同学进行介绍,在介绍的同时,针对学生的爱好进行评价。Reading can make you smart. Sports can make you strong. Taking photos is a good hobby. I like that too. You like going camping, I like going camping too.
Step 2 Revision
1. Students can revise all the words that the students have learned in the whole unit.
