一、教学内容:
牛津小学英语6B Unit3 Asking the way Part A.
二、教材简介:
本单元围绕“问路”这一话题展开各项语言活动。重点在于学习问路中常涉及的相关用语“Can you tell me the way to …?”及其答语。同时学习与问路相关的词汇。本节课可按新课程标准的要求倡导“任务型”教学途径,设置分组活动,给每一个学生一个任务,让他们在体验、实践、参与、合作中学习语言,引导学生在完成“问路”与“指路”具体任务中灵活地运用语言。
三、设计思路:
1.以效益为根本,以创新求发展,积极探寻和尝试小学英语高效课堂教学模式,为小学英语课堂教学提供新的思考和出路。本节课,我以我校李副校长主创的“四学三练”(四学:导学、自学、同学、固学;三练:初步体验训练、理解运用训练、巩固拓展训练)小学英语高效课堂教学模式为设计思路,对小学英语课堂教学进行大胆改革与创新。
2.在坚持培养和发展学生的语言技能不动摇的前提下,注重培养学生的英语自主学习能力(包括预习能力)和合作、探究能力。
3.实施当堂巩固、达标检测,量化、固化学习成果,使课堂教学效益具体、实在、可见、可测。
4.结合教学内容适时、自然地对学生进行守时、惜时教育,以“润物细无声”的方式达成情感目标。
四、目标预设:
1.知识目标:
1)通过学习使学生能正确地听、说、读、写词汇和句型:turn left/right,
stop ,post office ,get on /off ;Can you tell me the way to …, please ?
2)通过学习使学生能正确地听、说、读词汇:History Museum, along, street, crossing, away.
2.能力目标:使学生能运用对话中的日常用语:Go along this street and then turn left /right at the third crossing . How far is it from here ? It’s about a kilometer away . You can take bus No. 5 . How many stops are there ?进行对话交际。
3.情感目标:鼓励学生积极参与,通过多种形式的活动来激发学生的学习兴趣,培养学生从小养成乐于助人的良好习惯。
五、教学重点:
通过学习使学生能正确理解和掌握对话内容,并初步能朗读、表演对话。
六、教学难点:
能比较流畅地朗读对话,并能在掌握对话的基础上运用本课语言进行“问路”的对话交流。
七、教学过程:
PartⅠ Pre-reading
Step 1 Daily practice.(师生互致问候之后,生生进行日常交际用语对话。)
A: Do you have any brothers or sisters ?
B: Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.
A: How old are you ?
B: I’m ….
A: What can you do ?
B: I can ….
A: Do you like traveling(旅行)?
B: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
【设计意图】新课程理念下的英语教育,就小学英语的课堂而言,就是倡导让学生以体验、实践、参与、交流和合作的学习方式,实现语言的运用和交际。Daily practice的设计目的是通过“每日一练”的方式让学生在有时间、有目的、有话题、有句型支撑的“四有”状态下参与语用交际活动,同时,因为是生生互动,学生人人参与,有助于克服师生互动学生参与面过于狭窄的弊端。最后一个话题的设计,直接导入新课内容。
Step 2 Ask the students daily expressions to give the Chinese meanings of the following: Go along this street, and then turn right at the third crossing.

【设计意图】此环节是预习反馈环节,“四学三练”课堂教学模式,充分发挥前置性学习在课堂教学中的重要作用,即教师布置适量、精当的预习作业,然后通过“预习反馈”的方式检查学生的预习情况,以获得准确的学情信息,确立课堂教学的切入口。新知在不知不觉中学习,有效提高学生学习的有效性。
3.Show the bus timetable from Renmin Road to Hebin Road. Learn two phrases: every five minutes, get off.
【设计意图】创设真实的情境,通过人民路的站牌、东门汽车站和南门汽车站来引导学生学习every five minutes, get off,让学生在生活中学习英语,提高英语的真实性。
PartⅡ While-reading
Step 1 Watch and answer.
T: We know NanJing is a famous city of the world, so many many people from the other countries come here nowadays.Today I want to introduce a person, Mr. Smith to you. He is from Australia.First, let’s listen to the tape and see what will happen to him. After listening, you will have to answer my questions.Show the photo of Mr Smith to the students.
1.Watch the cartoon of part A.
Questions:①.What is he doing now? ②.Who is helping him? ③.Where does he want to go? 同时播放课文的Flash动画。
【设计意图】整体呈现课文内容,让学生真正体现“问路”的情景,不把句型和运用割裂开来。此部分让学生充分感知学习材料,通过任务型教学的训练让学生看完后初步理解课文的内容。为下一步作个铺垫。
2.Let the students answer the questions.
从学生回答的第三题答案He wants to go to the history museum and the post office.自然过渡到这两个词组的学习。
3.Learn two phrases: history museum, the post office.
①History Museum: A place for showing many valuable(有价值的)things with a long history. ② post office: A green building for sending(寄)letters(信)and receiving(收)packages.(包裹).
【设计意图】通过英语和图片来解释词组,有效锻炼了学生的英语思维,让学生用英语来思考和解释问题。
Step 2 Read and learn
1.Read the left part of the text, and underline the sentences. ①Which sentence asks the way? ②Which sentence gives the way?让学生快速阅读课文并划出问路和指路的句子。
2.Learn the sentence of giving the way.通过课件呈现课文中的地图,让学生在地图上学习指路。通过“特效”有效解释了crossing, turn left/right at the …crossing.

4.Ask and answer in pairs with another two pictures.
【设计意图】学生开始和小伙伴用一问一答的方式进行操练。“四学三练”在教学流程的“主线”中固定设置了“自主学习”和“合作学习”环节。小组合作的再次使用使学生更多的学会了合作,体验合作的重要性,同时也符合了当今小学英语教学的新型理念。
Step 3 Skip and intensive reading.
1.Try to learn another way to the post office: take bus NO.5.

跳读技巧:(1)快速阅读课文右部分文章。(2)只找出需要的信息,其它信息迅速跳过。Look at the map and let the students answer where the post office is.
(2)Intensive Reading Skills:
精读技巧: 阅读全文,不发出声音,心中默读。
区分:How many stops are there? Get off at the third stop.中stop有什么不同?让学生用汉语解释。Do some exercise about these two stops.
【设计意图】阅读方法和技巧的指导,能引导学生由浅入深,由表及里地更好地理解文本,增强了语篇教学的有效性,同时,能够促进学生阅读方法和技巧的提高,为学生的课后阅读提供了便利和方法的支撑。

1.Read the text.
先跟录音朗读课文,模仿录音的语音语调,纠正自己的发音。
2. Act the text in groups of three.
三人一小组,共同学习,有不会读或不懂的同学要虚心向会的同学请教、学习,会的同学要认真教,力争组内人人过关,组长负责。比一比,哪个小组完成任务又好、又快。
【设计意图】通过小组合作和表演来锻炼学生的交际能力,让课堂成为学生表演的舞台,让学生过一把“演员”瘾,培养学生的综合实力。分角色朗读课文,通过角色朗读来激发学生的积极性,让学生体验英语朗朗上口的感觉,培养其纯正的本土发音,从口语上加以突破。
3.送给学生一句名言,契机渗透人文教育。

PartⅢ Post-reading
Step 1 Fill in the blanks according to the text.

S: Go along this street and get on the bus to Maoshan at Hebin Road

S: It’s about 20 kilometres away.
T: It’s a long walk.
S: Well, to get there faster, you can take a taxi , and get off at
the bus stop. Maoshan is in front of you.
T: Thank you very much.
S: That’s all right.
