1  first 前加必须加the  如： the first day of the new term.
2.  there be 就近原则，靠近be动词的是复数用are,靠近的是单数用is 如：
   There is some chocolate in the box.
   There are some peaches in the tree.
3.  some 用于肯定句          如： There are some cakes on the plate.
Any 用于疑问句、否定句。 如：  There aren’t any cakes on the plate.  
Are there any cakes on the plate.
4.  How many+ 复数.如 How many boxes/ buses/ watches/ stories/ are there ?
5. 主格       宾格    形代（的）

6.  behind the door  , under the bed  介词后面加 the .
7.  can 或者 can’t 后面的动词用原型。如： He can skate , but she can’t.
8.  like + 动词ing  如： like running   like making a model plane.
Like+名词复数  如： like peaches  like pandas.
9.would like to = want to 后面动词用原型。如I would like to put the pie on the head.
                                        I  want  to  put the pie on the head.
10.  in blue / in black 表示穿什么颜色的衣服
11.  How much are they ? = How much are the …s ?  They are … Yuan.
   How much is it ?    = How much is  the …？  It’s  …… Yuan.
12.  with 表示 和 如：play table tennis with them.
   For  表示为了或给 如Here’s a toy for you.  Buy things for a Halloween party.
13.  this 的复数  these   This is an elephant. 变复数  These are some elephants.
   That 的复数 those   That’s a pear     变复数   Those are some pears.
14.  He / she / It / 人名 / my mother / my father 等词表示第三人称单数。 后面的动词需要加s 或 es 、 如： He likes reading.  My mother likes the cat very much.
15. ‘s 表示谁的，如：Mike’s my father’s teachers’ 提问一定要用 whose而不是who’s
