I. Teaching Content
It’s nice!
A: Look at his shirt.
B: It’s smart.
A: Look at my new blouse.
B: It’s pretty.
A: Thank you.
A: Look, this is her jacket.
B: Oh, it’s nice!
A: Look, that’s my sweater.
B: How nice!
II. Teaching aims:
1. Enable the Ss to understand and say three words: smart, new, pretty;
2. Enable the Ss to understand and say this passage;
3. Raise the Ss interest to learn English.
III. Teaching procedures:
Step 1: Warm up
1. Sing a song: <Hello! >
将歌曲中的Nancy换为我自己的名字,用歌曲与学生打招呼。并试着
让学生也用歌曲回应!
2. Free talk
A. T: Hi/ Hello! I’m Miss Gu. What’s your name?
S1: Hi/ Hello! Miss Gu. I’m …
T: Nice to meet you.
S1: Nice to meet you, too.
B. T: Hello. How are you?
S2: Fine, thank you. And you?
T: I’m fine , too.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Learn the word: smart.
A. T: Your coat is very nice, I like it very much. (接住上面的 Free talk) Boys and girls, look at his coat. It’s smart. 很帅,Right?
Ss: (大笑)Right!
B. 板书smart,领读。
C. S reads.
D. S开火车读。
E. T: Look at his jacket/ sweater /shirt.
S: It’s smart! 如此重复几遍
F. 男问,女答;女问,男答。
G. 以shirt为例,用chant 的形式领读一遍,然后让学生练习
Shirt, shirt. Look at his shirt.
Smart, smart. It’s smart.
2. Learn the word: pretty
A. T: Look at her jacket. (指着一女生) It’s smart! Right?
S: (大笑)No!smart是形容男生的,她又不是男生!(各抒己见)
B. 板书pretty,领读。
C. S reads.
D. S开火车读。
E. T: Look at her jacket/sweater/blouse.
S: It’s pretty. 如此重复几遍
F. :以blouse为例,用chant 的形式领读一遍,然后让学生练习
Blouse,blouse. Look at her blouse.
Pretty, pretty. It’s pretty.
3. Learn the word: new
A. T: Look at my blouse. It’s new. 是新的。Look at my new blouse.
B. 板书new,领读。
C. T: Blouse,blouse. Look at my new blouse.(引导学生去回答)
Ss: Pretty, pretty. It’s pretty.
D. T: Who can come to the blackboard and show your clothes like me.
S1: Look at my new jacket.(男生、女生都要回答)
Ss: It’s pretty/smart.
E. What else can you show us? Such as: Look at my new pen.
4. Learn the sentence: How nice!
A. T: Look, this is her jacket. It’s nice, right?
Ss: Yes, it’s nice.
B. T: Look, this is her coat. How nice!(配合动作,作感叹状)
T: Look at his sweater.(引导学生回答How nice!)
Ss: How nice!
T: 稍加中文解释:How nice!与It’s nice.意思差不多。但这是一个感叹句,可以解释为:好漂亮啊!
C. Open the books, look at the pictures and read after the tape.
Step 3: Practice
A.小组练习对话。
B.情景在现(教师创设情景,帮助学生背诵课文。全班参与。)
C.小组对话。(试着背诵课文。)
Step 4: Consolidation
1. T换上一件新外套,在教室里走一圈,边走边说:Look at my new coat.
Ss: It’s nice!/How nice!
学生一一按教师要求的示范:Look at my coat.
Ss: It’s nice/pretty/smart! How nice!
2. T请部分同学穿上各类服装,组成表演队,一个个出场练习,下面同学两两对话(以Colour song为背景音乐)
S1: Look, this is his/her……
S2: It’s nice/pretty/smart!
S1: Look, that’s his/her……
S2: How nice!
Step 5: Assign homework.
Listen to the tape and repeat 3 times.
Step 6: Sing the song “Goodbye!”, and say goodbye.
