教材简解：
本课是牛津小学英语3A第八单元知识的一个延伸。核心教学内容是“邀请别人外出”，主要向学生教授交通工具以及一些邀请他人乘坐交通工具去某地的句型，教学内容贴近学生的生活和学习实际。要求学生能在一定的情景下正确运用句型How do we go …? Shall we go to...by...?Is this ...for...?进行交谈。学生对外出游玩比较感兴趣，利用各种交通工具出行，也是同学们日常生活中很熟悉的话题，这为本节课教学奠定了很好地情感基础。
目标预设：
知识目标：
1、能整体感知课文内容，听懂，正确朗读课文，理解课文意思。
2、能熟练掌握句型：How do we go …? Shall we go to …by…? Is this …for…?
　 能用How do we go… ?询问同伴、他人以怎样的方式去某地。
　 能用Shall we go… by… ?与同伴商量以某种方式去某地。
3、能熟练掌握词汇：theatre, by taxi.
4、复习已学的地点和交通工具的单词，积累新单词；并能正确运用进行交流。
能力目标：
1、 培养学生良好的识记单词及句型的能力；培养学生能说连贯句子的能力。
2、 培养学生自主学习的能力，同时提高捕捉信息的准确度和阅读理解能力。
情感目标：
使学生感受到自己所居城市的魅力。
教学重点：
1. 能整体感知课文内容，听懂，正确朗读课文，理解课文意思。
2. 能听懂，会说，会读和会拼写单词theatre, by taxi.
3. 能听懂，会说，会读和会写句型How do we go …? Shall we go to …by…? Is this …for…?
教学难点：
1. 能准确读出theatre的读音。
2. 能灵活运用句型How do we go …? Shall we go to …by…? Is this …for…?进行日常交际。
设计理念：
英语课堂的教学，始终是为日常生活服务的，因此必须与学生的生活实际紧密的结合在一起。创设一个真实有趣的环境，才能激发学生的求知欲和表现欲，让学生很自然地展开对话。所以在句型的呈现和练习环节中，情境教学法能帮助学生更好地习得知识，消除阅读障碍。在阅读中，应努力追求阅读课的味道，通过设疑调动学生阅读的兴趣，然后采用初听感知，自读探究、再读品味，充分调动学生阅读的主动性，同时也激活他们的思维，培养自学能力。课堂小结和拓展帮助学生更好掌握本课知识。
设计思路：
1、新知呈现，情境教学。运用图片、课件等情景的创设，呈现并练习单词和句型。由旧带新，学生的学习思路能够顺畅，句型How do we go there？ Shall we go to...by..? Is this …for…?得以有效的生成。
2、整体感知，自主学习。文本的学习通过三个问题Who？Where？和How?帮助学生正确理解课文内容，同时培养学生自主学习的能力，提高捕捉信息的准确度和阅读理解能力。
3、巩固练习，拓展运用。通过Summary，小结本课的重点内容，并加以练习，训练学生的书写能力，加深印象。利用本地的三个代表性的地点，拓展所学知识，立足本课语言结构，提高学生的综合运用语言的能力。
