知识点汇总：
一、        现在进行时：
        表示一个在过去开始而在将来结束的动作。这个动作在说话的时候还没完成，仍在进行中。
如：China is developing very quickly. 中国正在快速发展着。
        还可以表示现在一个较长的时间段里进行的动作，但在说话时这一动作也许并未进行着。
如：David and his family are decorating their new house. 大卫和他的家人在装修新房
        现在进行时的构成特点am ( is / are ) + 动词ing（又称现在分词）
        现在进行时使用时间状语很有限，目前我们学到的有now。还有一两个祈使句如Look! / Listen ! 等也是经常提示我们后面的句子通常要使用现在进行时。再有就是It’s five o’clock .等小句子也可能是现在进行时暗示语。
如：It’s nine o’clock . The students are having an English lesson . （现在是）九点钟，学生们在上英语课。
   Look! The dog is running after a cat! 看！一只狗正在一只猫后面追赶！
（理解：如果已经发生过了，你还能“看”到吗？所以用现在进行时描述）
二、        现在分词的构成：
        直接在动词原形后加ing
如：see --- seeing   work --- working   jump --- jumping   
ski --- skiing
        以不发音的e结尾的动词，去e再加ing
如：make --- making     skate --- skating   dance --- dancing
        以一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节动词（理解：这个动词中的元音字母不发原本的音；动词的结构象“汉堡”或“夹心饼”一样的：辅音+一个元音字母+一个辅音字母）要双写最后一个尾辅音字母再加ing.
如：run --- running    sit --- sitting    get --- getting
    cut --- cutting   drop --- dropping  plan --- planning
***注意：以w \ r \ y结尾的除外，不要双写
三、        打电话用语：
1)        May I speak to … ? 我能和… … 通话吗?
2)        Hello , is … in ?  喂, … … 在家吗?
3)        Hello , is that … ? 喂, 是… … 吗?
4)        Hold on , please . 请别挂断.
5)        Sorry , you ‘ ve got  the wrong number .对不起,你打错了.
6)        May I know who’s calling? 请问你是谁?
7)        Can I leave a message? 我能留下口信吗?
8)        Can I take a message? 我能帮你写下口信吗?
四、        How about 的用法
1.        使用时必须有上下文。如：
A: I am reading a book, how about you ?
B: I am doing  housework.
2.        可以表示询问评价或推荐一些东西。（在4B中学过）如：
A: I ‘d like a new skirt.
B: How about this red one?
3.        还可以用来谈论人或约定的时间。如：
A: Can you come and help me with my Maths?
B: Sure, how about this afternoon?   
A: OK.
