1、Knowledge Aim:
(1)Can hear understand ,can say ,can read the single phrase:a shape ,a star ,a circle,a square,a diamond,a rectangle,a triangle.
(2)Can hear understand ,can say ,can read with can write the sentence construction:What shape is the …?It's a /an….
2、Ability Aim:
(1)Can use the sentence construction :What shape is the …?It's a/an…
(2)Educate the student's group the ability that cooperate.
3、Moral Aim :
Educate the student's mutual the emotion that cooperate.
Main Points:
1.Can use the sentence construction:What shapeis the …?It's a/an …
2.Enable the Ss to understand and say :a shape,a star ,a circle,a square ,a diamond,a rectangle,a triangle.

Step1:Warming-up
1.Greetings.
2.T:Let's count how many groups here.If you work hard you'll get so many superstar.Yes ?Ok,today we'll have a wonderfull class .Now let me see where is group 1?
Ss:One ,one,No.1.Ye!
T:Where is group 2?
Ss:Two,Two,very good,Ye!
T:Where is group3?
Ss:Three,three,one,two three,go!
T:Where is group4?
Ss:Four,Four,come on,Ye!
3.Play a game:
I say the sentence you do the opposite action.
4.Sing a song :《What do you have? 》
5.Free talk.
结合歌曲复习What do you /we /they have?We/You /They have…What does she /he have?She/He has a …
6.A guessing game:
T:(出示一个装有各种形状卡及其单词的漂亮盒子)Guess:What do I have?
Ss:
T:Look,Ihave some shapes(拿出所有形状卡).Today we'll learn Unit9 Shapes.
Step2:Presentation
1.Learn :a circle,a star ,a square,a diamond.
(1)Show an apple and learn "a circle ".
T:Boys and girls ,do you have an apple?
Look,What shape is the apple?It's a circle.
a.Read after the teacher(拼读并板书:a circle)
b.Ask and answer.
T:Good!Can you draw a circle ?Who can ?Please draw it here.
T:Look,I have a watch .What shape is the watch?
Ss:It's a circle.
T:Could you tell me other circles in English?(引导学生进行发散思维,活学活用)
c.Ask your friends,work in Pairs.
(2)learn“a star”
T:Now ,boys and girls ,look carefully .I'll cut the apple(将苹果横切,引导学生动手实践).Guess:What shape is it ?
Read after the teacher :a star ,a star,it's a star.(板书:a star)
T:Now,look,what shape is the paper?
Ss:
T:Who can draw a star ?Come here ,please.
(3)learn “a square”and “a diamond”(出示铁丝教授)
T:Look,What shape is it ?(录音教授)Listen carefully.It's a square.(two by two )
T:What shape is the paper /box?
Ss:It's a square.(生拼读师板书: a square)
T:(将铁丝对角斜拉)Look,What shape is it ?Is it a square,too?
Ss:No.
T:What shape is it ?(录音教授)It's a diamond (two by two ,read in parts)(板书:a diamond )
T:Who can draw them?(Ask two students come to the blackboard and draw  them on and write.)
2.Have a race:
(1)If you read it quickly ,your group will get the shape.(教师按不同顺序出示单词卡)
(2)Listen carefully .If I say “circle”,the circle group must stand up and  shout it  loudly.(以形状为组的标志,看老师的口形,猜出单词大声喊)
3.Learn“a rectangle”and “a triangle”
Show some objects.
T:Look,what shape is it ?It's a rectangle.(静听录音,模仿跟读,用分解法帮助学生读准音,如/rek/-/tANgl/)(read four by four ,row by row ,together)
T:Who can draw it ?
T:Could you tell me other rectangles in English?
Learn “a triangle” in the same way.
Step3:Practice
1.Listen to the tape and  point it then  repeat.
2.Play games :
(1)Read after me:If I'm right ,please follow me ,but if I'm wrong ,please stand up.
(2)I point the words and you say it quickly.
Step4.Tasks
T:Boys and girls ,you did a good job.Today,we're going to have an Art lesson.I'm your Art teacher.
Task 1:
Use some shapes draw a beautiful picture and ask them to describe it.
Task 2:
Show students some colour pieces of paper and ask them to fold paper shapes or cut out the shapes and ask them to describe it.
Task 3:
Use some things make some shapes and describe them.
T:Work in groups.You can choose your favourite task to do it.But you must speak English.(The teacher joins them )
T:Who would like to try?Do your best.
Ss:
T:Which group is the best?
S1:Group 3.
S2:Group 1.
S3:Group 2.

T:I think all of you did a good job,I give each group a big smiling face.
Step5 Homework
1.Drawing some pictures of your favourite thing and descibing the procedure.
2.Would you like to know other shapes in English ?Could you show us other method of recognizing shapes?Tell us next time,ok?
