Step l Pre-task preparation
1. Greetings
T: Class begins.
Ss: Stand up, please.
T: Sit down.
T: Hello/Good morning/afternoon, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello/Good morning/afternoon, Miss Chen.
2. Sing a song: Season’s song
3. Free talk
T: Hello, Do you like winter?
S1: Yes, I do.                           
T: Do you like summer?
S2: No , I don't. I like….

Step2 While-task presentation
1.Take out some animal pictures.
T:What’s this?
Ss: It’s a dog.
T: And this?
Ss: A cat.
2.Paly a game: GUESS
T:Guess, what’s it?
Ss: Monkey
T: Great! It’s a monkey.
Read the word together, in groups or have a train.
3.T: I like eating bamboo. Who am I?
Ss: Panda.
T: Yes,I am a panda.
4.Play animal sounds, guess what is it?
T:The sound is horrible.
S: It’s a lion.(ask the Ss to guess)
5.Play a video about the zoo: At the zoo.
T: I like dogs/monkeys/lions/pandas.
   Do you like pandas?
Ss: Yes, I do./No,I don’t. I like…
T:What do you like?
S2:I like monkeys.
T: What do you like?
S: I like …s.
Familiar with the word: monkey ,panda, lion, and its plural form
Practice the dialogue in pairs.
Step 3 Post-task activities
1. Listen to the tape and read after the tape
2. Read the words.
Tiger , tiger, I like tigers.
Step4 Homework
Listen and read Part B for 3 times.
