Unit 8 Happy New Year！(Story time)

一、教学目标：

1. 学会准确使用What’s this/that? This is for…句型询问物品和互赠礼物。

2. 学会日常交际用语：节日祝福语Happy New Year! 及相应回答。

3. 能听懂、会说、会读礼物类单词：doll、ball、car、robot.

4. 会唱歌曲：Happy New Year!

5. 通过各种表演，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养良好的开口说的习惯。

二、教学重点：

1.句型：What’s this/that? It’s … This is for you.

2.词汇：happy, new, year, for, doll, ball, robot.

三、教学难点

1.日常用语：What’s this/that?的语序

2. 词汇：happy，new, year, doll, ball, robot等词的读音

四、教学准备

1.   多媒体、生词卡片，本单元学习的玩具类的图片（多带几套做奖品）、玩具（用礼品盒包装），Uncle John像的头饰, 小红花等奖品。

2.  黑板进行喜庆的装饰。

五、教学过程：

Step 1. Free talk and motivation

1.       Greetings.

2.       Teach : “happy”

T: Today I’m very happy. Are you happy?

S: Yes , I’m happy.

(指名让学生面带微笑说“Happy, happy, I’m happy.”)

3.（多媒体播放鞭炮声）T: Oh, New Year is coming. When people meet , how should they greet each other ? 引出：Happy New Year！并揭题。

4. Learn to sing :《Happy New Year》(让学生加上动作)。

Step 2. Presentation and practice.

1.（ppt 创设新年背景和氛围）

T：Happy New Year，boys and girls.

S: Happy New Year, Miss Shi .

T: I have many presents for you .

( ppt 展示各种礼物盒，让学生谈论)

2 Teach :句型What’s this ?It’s …及单词doll.

(1).ppt 展示其中一个礼物盒，引导学生问答：What’s this ? It’s a doll .

(2).采用说chant的方法drill 句型What’s this ? 和单词doll. 同时奖励玩具娃娃卡片给说的好的同学，渗透：This*** is for you .Thank you.

3.       同法教学礼物单词:ball.

4.       Teach :句型What’s that ?It’s …及单词robot.

(1).ppt分别展示两个礼盒（一远一近）,T介绍：This is a present. It’s a doll . That’s a present , too.并引导学生问答：What’s that ?It’s a robot.

(2).谈论robot,渗透cool、smart、happy。

(3).Make a chant .

(4).编的好的给予奖励：This ***is for you.

5.采用猜谜游戏巩固句型：What’s that ? It’s …, 并引出新单词car的教学.

6. Game : What’s missing ?巩固礼物类单词。

Step 3 Story time

1.       引出课文：Just now , I gave you some presents. Uncle John comes to Mike’s home and gives Mike and his family some presents.

2.       Listen and tick : What presents does Uncle John give them ?

Watch the cartoon and Match: What are the presents for ?
