1.        refuse
是及物动词，也是不及物动词，意为“拒绝，回绝”。refuse to do sth.拒绝去做某事，例如：
(1). 我们叫他来，可是他拒绝了。         We asked him to come, but he ________________.
(2). 他拒绝改变计划。                                He _______________________________________.
此外，refuse的反义词是accept，意为“接受”。习惯用法：accept (to do) sth. 接受了你的邀请。 例如：
我接受了你的邀请。                            I have ____________________________________.
2.  success
是名词，意为“成功”，既可以作可数名词也可以作不可数名词。当其作可数名词，指具体的成功的人或者事，例如：
我不停问自己：“会成功吗？”                        I kept asking myself: ”Will it be ______ _______?”
(1)        当不可数名词，指获得成功。例如：
失败是成功之母。                   Failure is the mother of success.
(2)        作为动词是写成succeed，意为“成功”。习惯用法为：succeed (in) doing sth.成功做某事
他考试及格了。          He succeeded in the examination.
(3)        形容词是successful，意为“成功的”，例如：
他是一名成功的商人。    He is ___________ ____________ _______________.
