Story time

这是英语日记的格式开头。英文日期的表达有两种,一种是英国写法,按日、月、年的顺序排列,另一种是美国写法,按月、日、年的顺序排列。牢记将年份放在最后,其前用逗号与月、日隔开。
2. It was time for lunch.
这是固定结构“It’s time for +名词”的一般过去时。我们还可以用“It was time to +动词”来表达同一意思。
3. What a day!
这是对某天感慨的表达。这句话可以表达的含义很多,要根据具体语境来看。可以表达“多好的一天”“这鬼天气”“糟糕的一天”“繁忙的一天”“难过的一天”等。
Cartoon time
1. What happened, Bobby?
意为“发生了什么”,happened是happen的过去式。此句用来询问过去发生了什么,答句也用一般过去时。
2. I found it near the park.
found是find的过去式。find和look for都有“找”的意思,但含义不同。find是“找到”,强调“找”的结果,而look for是“寻找”,强调“找”的过程。
