多放手

英语新授课中,和学生进行的对话一般都紧扣本课课题,和中心语句,担心学生说不好影响本课的效率。但上次一课后我改变了这种看法,这种但心是不必要的,应相信学生,并相信他们能说,也能说好。我应该多放手,鼓励学生。
上节课是这样的,我和学生共同学习小学牛津英语6B unit 3 asking the way第一课时。在课上我和学生一起做了一个我们镇的平面地图,并想利用这个平面图来学习本课的生词。教学实录如下(注T为教师,S为学生):
T: My friend will come to our town, but this is the first time to come to our town for him. He does not know the way. Can we make a map of our town for him?
S: ok.
T: where is our primary school? Can you put it on the blackboard ?
学生走上前面,粘贴primary school卡片在黑板上,确定平面图的方向,同时用下面的语句进行对话学习生词primary school:
Where is our primary school?
Our primary school is on Yucai Road
用同样的方法学习其他词,但我们镇上没有history museum于是我就问学生:
T Now ,in our town ,there is a primary school, a middle school ,a post office ,a shopping centre . what else do we need in our town.?
SWe need a air port .
这个答案令我有些意外,于是就问:
TWhy?
SBecause many people will go to work after Spring Festival, my farther will go to BaiJing too.
这个学生的回答让我有些吃惊,没想到学生能用英语准确地回答了我的问题,当时就给我一个坚定的信念,学生能说英语,会说英语也能说好英语,要给他们机会。
这之后,又有学生说:
SWe need a train station, we can go out by train and our parents can go to work by train quickly.我听后对学生说:
T: Where can we build the train station?
同时给一位同学一个train station 的生词卡片,让他贴在平面图中,这位同学贴在购物中心的旁边,于是我问他:why?
他回答道:
SBecause there are many people in the shopping center, the people can go shopping by train , they can buy tickets .
这时我相机出示生词卡片a history museum,带领学生们认读,之后指着平面图问同样的问题:
TWhere can we build it in our town?
有学持举手并指着图回答:
SWe can build it here, it is near our primary school, near our middle school, and many people can know it , we can learn more history about our town..
在这节课之后,我好好地反思了我平时的教学,觉得应该多放手让学生去说,不要但心学生的语言表达能力,要更多地创造可以让学生说的素材,场景和机会。并且在学生说话时多给些鼓励,在课堂上的说话话题不应只局限于本课内容,也应适当地向课外延伸。这堂课,教给学生知识,更多的是学生教给我更新的课堂教学模式。
