教学内容:Story time. Grammar time. Learning tip

教学目标:

1. 能根据图片提示和文字提示,复述课文

2. 了解现在进行时的特殊疑问句和肯定句的结构,掌握本单元出现的动词现在分词形式。

3. 学会在英语学习过程中,注意观察动词的形式,判断时态,从而准确地理解句子和篇章的意思。

教学准备:

1. 多媒体、教学光盘

2. 学生收集、整理学过的动词短语

教学过程:

A. Warming up

1. Greetings

2. Enjoy a song

Polly, put the kettle on

B. Revision

1. Act and say

请几名学生上台做动作,其他学生用现在进行时描述

S1: (做唱歌动作)

Y: What’s he / she doing?

Ss: He’s / She’s singing.

3.1) 多媒体呈现Story time部分的人物、动词短语,引导学生回忆课文内容,将人物与相应的活动匹配
2)学生四人一组,根据图片提示和文字提示,接龙复述课文。
S1: It’s Saturday morning.
S2: Mike and Mr Brown are cleaning the car in front of the house.
S3: Mrs Brown is cooking breakfast in the kitchen.
S4: Helen is sweeping the floor in the living room. S1: Tim and Ben are sleeping in Tim’s bedroom.
S2: It’s Saturday afternoon.
S3: Mike’s cousin Jim comes.
S4: Mrs Brown is cooking dinner.
S1: Helen and Mike are helping their mother in the kitchen.
S2: Helen is washing the dishes.
S3: Mike is cleaning the table.
S4: Tim, Jim and Ben are in the living room. They’re watching TV.
C. Grammar time
1. 读句子,感知结构
学生两人一组,朗读第一和第二表格中呈现的句子,一人读问句,一人读答句,感知现在进行时的结构。
S1: What are you doing?
S2: I am sweeping the floor.

2. 填空
What are you doing? I am sweeping the floor.
What are you doing? We are watching TV.
What are they doing? They are eating fruit.
What is he doing? He is sleeping.
What is she doing? She is washing the dishes.
3. 两人一组,造句比赛
组织学生两人一组造句比赛。一人在纸条上写人名,一人在纸条上写动词短语,然后两人同时出纸条造句。最快说出正确句子的获胜。
S1: (出示my father纸条)
S2: (出示play football纸条)
S1: My father is playing football.

4. 归纳现在分词的构成
1)引导学生读一读本部分罗列的现在分词,观察动词转换为现在分词的一般规则。
2)拓展介绍: swim---swimming; run---running; take---taking; skate---akating; write---writing;
dance---dancing; fly---flying
3) 提醒学生:动词转换为现在分词和动词转换为动名词(如like doing)所遵循的规则是相同的,及现在分词和动名词在形式上是一样的,但用法不同。
5. Leaning tip
  Pay attention to these words
引导学生阅读教材P91的内容,懂得在英语学习过程中,注意观察动词的形式,判断时态,从而准确地理解句子和篇章;另外,学会观察和分析动词的形式,可以学会总结归纳规则,从而在学习中达到触类旁通、举一反三的效果。
D. Homework
1. 收集整理有关家务劳动的动词短语
2. 完成《课课练》练习二
