关于in the tree和on the tree, 广大小学英语教师都熟悉这样一个规则：in the tree一般是指(外来的东西)在树上，而on the tree是指“长在树上”。教材三年级下册Unit 4 Thebird is in the tree. 符合这一规则。但是六年级上册Unit 5 Cartoon time课文中却出现了“They find a sign on the tree.”这样的句子，sign (标识)自然不可能是长在树上的，这如何解释？是不是教材有出错了？

in 和 on应该是指在树的位置，里面用in，外面用on

in the tree 在树上，可以自己动的
on the tree 长在树上，或站在树上（标志在树上）
