Talk in pairs and find a solution to the words.

The Ss are unfamiliar with the synonym antonym and the words of the same pronunciation. Because they don’t know the meaning of a single words esp. the words they learned before.

First, let’s sing a song: Happy and new year.
Hold a dictation about what they have learned in last lesson.

Sing the song Happy new year.

Review the plural forms of the nouns.















Say the rules of changing a noun into its plural form
1.    Add s
2.    Add es
3.    Change y into i then add es
4.    Change f into v then add s or es.
5.    Special words.  
Encourage them to say some words of each class.
Show the words.
ball, banana, chair, bus, dress, tiger, friend, glass, watch, box, brush, student, woman, man, postman, pencil box, boy, sister, she, policeman, baby, knife, family, library, toy, strawberry, study, mango.

Listen and understand.







Say a word for example.


Discuss in pairs and then in groups at last, in class.

The Ss are somewhat confused with the special words. I need more time to get familiar with the words.


Consolidation

Consolidate these words.


Homework:
1.    copy these words.
2.    Get ready for the dictation.

Take notes and finish.

Are is the be verb after the second personal pronoun and the plural forms:
Is : is the be verb after the third personal pronoun and the single form.
Discuss in class and choose the correct be verb.

The Ss can use the words flexibly.

好多啊,都是英语的,看起来有点累,可是很佩服楼主。
