Children’s Day is coming soon. The students of Class Three are having a meeting. They are talking about their holiday. Some of the girls want to have a party. But some of the boys want to have a sports meeting. They think the sports meeting is more interesting than a party.
Liu Ta What shall we do this Children’s Day? Do you have any ideas? We all like sports, so I suggest we are going to have a sports meeting.
Mike: Sounds great! What games will we have?
Liu Ta We’ll have running, high jump, long-jump, jogging and some ball games.
Mike: Very good! I’ll take park in the running race. I can run very fast. Right?
Helen: No, Liu Tao can run faster than you. Will you both have a race, OK?
Mike: That’s good. I hope so.
Ben: I can jump high. So I want to take part in the
high -jump.I hope I can win the race. Who can jump higher than me?
David: Let me try. I’ll try to jump higher than you. Wait  and see.
Su Yang: Who can jump farther than Su Hai?
Nancy: Sorry, I can’t. Can you jump farther than Su Hai?
Su Yang: Of course, I can. So we’ll take part in the
