My home town
                                         ——the past and the present
I have live in Zhenjiang since I was born . I still remember Zhenjiang was only a small city ten years ago.
At that time, there were few people in Zhenjiang and most of then were farmers. But, it was beautiful. The sky was blue and the air was so fresh that it was comfortable to enjoy it. At the same tome, you also could see green hills around and colorful flowers. The water was so clear that you could see the fish swim in it.
People there were poor, so they could only live in small houses. But they were friendly to each other. The worst thing was that the traffic wasn’t convenient, so people couldn’t go out very often. This is one of the reasons why Zhenjiang had less development.
Things have changed a lot over the years. To my surprise, there’re now 2600000people living in Zhenjiang. It’s not a small city any more. Many factories, tall buildings, shopping centers, some new highways have been there for a long time. Now, we can take a bus, taxi, car etc. to go out. Overall, we have a modern life.
But, behind it, there’re many problems. The most serious problem is the environment. The air and water pollution become worse and worse. Luckily, the government have realized it and taken actions to protect the environment. I think it will get better in the future.
I wish our home town a good future.

Last year I went to Beijing. My parents and I were having a great time here. Today I’ll tell you my meaningful experience.
The first day of our trip to Beijing, we went to the Great Wall. It’s one of the wonders in the world. But you know it’s very difficult to climb on it. We spent about an hour climbing at Haohanpo. Someone said, climbing up is easy and climbing down is hard. That’s true. When we got to Haohanpo, we were so tried that we couldn’t come down easily. Even though, I still think it was a good trying.
The next day, we went to Tiananmen Square. It’s the largest square in the world. We went sightseeing around the square. It was really great. I also saw the Monument to the people’s heroes. It’s very tall and I thought it’s meaningful. Then we went to Wangfujing Street to go shopping. You know Wangfujing? It’s very famous. That day, we bought many food and souvenirs there. Fulin pancake is very delicious.
On the third day, we visited the Palace Museum. Maybe it’s very comfortable to live in it. The Palace Museum is so big that I couldn’t find my way to the exit. The Palace Museum is behind Tiananmen. You may have a question, why I didn’t go there yesterday. Because it’s a tourist attraction, many people were in it yesterday. But today it was better.
We enjoyed our trip to Beijing very much. It was a exciting and unforgettable experience abd I hope to visit Beijing again.

诗仙•酒鬼

      他，用晶莹甘醇的美酒写诗，浪迹天涯，是最奔放的一行。他是诗仙，吟诵“对酒当歌，人生几何”的千古绝唱；他，一是酒鬼，浊酒一壶，“举杯邀明月，对影成三人。”
      他的是正如他的人一样“清水出芙蓉，天然去雕饰。”其中，无不透露着他的奔放、豪迈与浪漫。“天生我材必有用”是其潇洒，“千金散尽还复来”是其豁达。他夸张“白发三千丈”，他向往“人生得意须尽欢”，他抱负远大“俱怀逸兴壮思飞，欲上青天揽明月。”
      他是一旷世奇才，“五岁诵六甲，十岁观百家。十五观奇书，作赋凌相如。”他被一纸黄榜招入深宫，为翰林。未满两年又被玄宗赶出宫去。可是，正是玄宗的逐，才造就了他的名。他渐渐成为人所周知的写诗专业户，天下闻名。正是“安能摧眉折腰事权贵”的信念，使他名垂千古，为万人敬仰。
      他，酒鬼一个。无酒不成诗使他的真实写照。“五花马，千金裘，呼儿将出换美酒。”嗜酒如命，使得他的诗篇也如美酒般，香浓醇厚。也可以这么说，他，就是以北纯度极高的白酒。他和杜甫齐名，却不同于杜甫。屠夫忧国忧民，可他，把无尽闲愁寄于酒中。一醉方休，一切惆怅，尽随醉意而去。梦醒，愁销。
      他的酒，是他的诗也醉得厉害，却又丰富多彩。又对当时社会腐朽势力的猛烈抨击，又对美好理想的执著追求，又对祖国壮丽河山的热情讴歌……这些加起来共一千有余的诗篇，无不充分体现了他奔放的激情，洒脱不羁的豪侠气概和积极及时的精神。
      他，不是别人，他就是中华诗坛第一人——李白。他，也是“但愿长醉不用醒”的酒鬼一个，仅此而已。
