对，只要看紧跟这be动词的那个名词究竟是单数，复数还是不可数名词就行了。

UNIT9出现了There's no句型,但都是类似There's no juice in the glass. There's no spoon on the plate .这样的单数句.请问你们有没有扩充让学生练习复数句.如:There are no books on the desk. 到底要不要扩充?怎么让学生了解区别,分别在什么情况下用?

我觉得可以根据学生的情况，学生比较好，就补充。以前there's no是这样教的：There isn't any milk in the bottle.可以替换成There's no milk in the bottle.There aren't any books in the bookcase.可以替换成There are no books in the bookcase.总之还是得区分单复数和不可数名词的用法。

不可以省略a 否则意思不同a  nife  and  fork 这里省略了个a说明knife  and  fork  是一副

谢谢赐教。我就简单地扩充了一下。把一个勺子放盘子里，让学生说：There's a spoon on the plate .拿掉，再说：There's no spoon on the plate.把一些书放桌上：There are some books on the desk .再拿掉：There are no books on the desk.学生都能理解至于There isn't any milk in the bottle. There aren't any books in the bookcase.这样的句型还是到5A去学吧。
