Unit 10 Do you play……?
一、设计思想:
本课是牛津小学英语3B Unit10 Do you play..?的第一教时,主要让学生认识篮球、足球、棒球和排球四种球类单词,及用Do you like...? Do you play...?等两个句型来引导回答 Yes, I do./ No, I don't.进而进行学生间的对话于交流。从本堂课学习内容的教授来看,学生很容易对球类实物和运动项目产生兴趣,但要让学生保持这种兴趣就需要球类单词之间的过渡要紧凑,扎实,层次清晰,避免单调。句型的穿插要和谐、自然,遵循由易到难,由扶到放的原则。采用多媒体教学课件和反复的课堂交流、操练是突破本堂课重难点的关键。对于三年级的学生来说,兴趣是课堂得以延续的关键。如果不能通过各种活泼、互动、引人入胜的手段和紧凑的环节设计及多媒体教学课件加以辅助,整堂课便会变的索然无味,学生也难以做到主动的去学。因此我采用了听说、游戏、比赛、调查等多种教学手段,诣在把这堂课变成生动、有趣、和谐的课。另外,尽管才学了一个多学期英语,学生间英语水平已经渐渐拉开,怎样满足不同水平层次的学生,让他们都能得到提高和进步,也是这堂课所需要关注的问题。
二、教学目标和要求:
1、认知目标:
(1)、听懂说读四个表示球类运动的单词:football basketball volleyball baseball;
(2)、能听懂会说:Do you like…? Yes, I do. No, I don’t. Do you play …? Yes, I do. No, I don’t. Let‘s go and play ….Great!Let’s go.
2、能力目标:
(1)能说出四个不同的球的表达football basketball volleyball baseball。
(2)能 用Do you like…? Yes, I do. No, I don‘t. Do you play …? Yes, I do. No, I don’t. Let‘s go and play ….Great!Let’s go.进行调查、交流,表达自己喜欢玩的球类运动。
3、情感目标:
激发和培养学生学习英语的积极性,树立学生学习英语的自信心,形成良好的英语学习情感;让学生热爱生活,拥有健康的课外活动。
三、教学重点和难点:
重点:四个球类单词的朗读,Do you like…? Do you play …?及其回答的运用。
难点:don’t 的读法,baseball和basketball的区别。
四、教学准备:
CAI、四种球(足球,篮球,棒球,排球)、自制单词(句型)卡片
五、教学过程
一、Say a rhyme: We are happy today
Bright day, sunny day.
We are happy today.
Let’s go and play.
Near the bay.
(随笔:通过小诗We are happy today揭示本堂课学习的 Let’s go and play football now. 有启发新知的作用)
二、Revision
1.T: Good morning…. How are you?
Who’s he? (指另外一个学生)
S1: He’s…
T: What’s this in English? (出示一个篮子)
S1: It’s a basket.
T: Who’s she? (指另外一个学生)
S2: She’s…
T: Oh, (从地上捡起一支圆珠笔,问一位同学) Is this your ball pen?
S2: No, it isn’t.
(随笔:课前师生对话除了可以提高学生学习兴趣,其内容还应该为本课所服务,间接引出basketball)
三、Presentation
1. 教学basketball, like, Do you like basketball? Yes, I do.
 T: Now please watch TV. Who’s he? (展示给学生看姚明的图片(课件))
Ss: He’ YaoMing.
T: Yes, he’s a basketball player. He likes basketball. Here is a basketball. (出示篮球)
(随笔:通过学生耳熟能详的明星运动员姚明让学生很容易的就学会basketball这个单词,而且激发了他们继续学习的兴趣。)
(basketball, basketball, basketball..(教师领读), T: Now look at the TV please.
T: This is a …Ss: basket.
T: This is a … Ss: ball pen.
T: And this is a …. Ss: basketball.
(学生一组一组读)学生挨个读
(随笔:将学生熟悉的basketball和ball pen进行组合,让学生对本课第一个单词更加熟悉)
 T: Yao Ming likes basketball. I like basketball, too. (出示 like,同时教师做动作,教师边做动作边读 like basketball ,全体读,小组读,挨个读,读到最后一位同学时问Do you like basketball?)
第一种情况S: Yes. T: Yes, I do.(出示单词卡Yes, I do. (然后继续不停问,问一组)
第二种情况S: Yes, I do. T: You are very good. (然后继续不停的问,问一组)
第三种情况 S: No,. T: No, I don’t. (如果连续两个同学出现 No, 就直接教 No, I don’t.
第四种情况 S: No, I don’t. T: Very good. (接着问其他同学)
(随笔:应对课堂随时可能生成的东西,教师应该做好充足的准备,考虑到学生回答的每一方面。)
 (最后一个回答完后,让他问另一个同学) T: Can you ask ….?
S1: Do you like…?
S2: Yes, I do.
(三组后) T: Can you ask Mr. Shen, together? (让学生问老师)
Ss: Do you like basketball?
T: Yes, I do.
(学生两两问答练习)
(随笔:师生对话后还要让学生充分的说起来,调动全班的学习积极性,反复操练增强学习效果。)
2.教学football, No, I don’t.
T: I like basketball. This is a basketball. (出示篮球)
(出示足球) T: Is this a football?
S: No, it isn’t. It’s a …. T: It’s a football. (教师边读边指着自己的脚,边拿出足球。) (领读,学生个人读,学生小组读)。
T: Do you like football?
S: Yes, I do.
(问数位同学,如果没有人说No的,教师拿出一个小熊道具问自己 Mr Shen, do you like football? 然后自己回答 No, I don’t.)
(随笔:生动有趣的自问自答让学生记忆深刻)
S: No.
T: No, I don’t. (教师进行补充,让学生初步感知否定回答)
(出示 No, I don’t. 强调 don’t的发音, 反复领读,学生读,教师问)
T: Do you like football? (教师摇手暗示)
S: No, I don’t.
T: Do you like basketball? (教师点头暗示)
S: Yes, I do.
(问3组同学,然后请学生间相互问答)
T: Now, ask Mr. Shen.
S: Do you like….?
T: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
(随笔:反复操练两种回答,尤其对don’t的发音加以强调)
3.教学baseball.
T: I like basketball. I don’t like football. (指这两个单词,重读ball)
T: Look at this word, read after me, base, base. (出示单词)
T: Can you read this word?
S: Baseball.
T: What a clever boy!
(边说 baseball边出示棒球,传球读,小组读)
T: Do you like baseball?
S: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
(练习3组)
(随笔:组合词,由扶到放的让学生接受新的词汇)
4.教学volleyball.
 (教师做出投篮动作)T: Football or basketball?
S: Basketball.
T: (教师做动作)play basketball
(教师让学生边做动作边说 play basketball)
T: (做打棒球动作)play football or play baseball?
S: play baseball.
T: (做踢球动作) play…
S: Play football
(教师做动作学生回答,最后做打排球的动作)
T: play basketball? S: No.

T: play baseball? S: No.
T: play volleyball. (出示排球,边做动作边读)
 巩固这些动词词组 ,师带生练习。
(教师发出指令,学生一起做动作。)

(随笔:由like 过度到 play教师一定要突出动作的不同)
5.教学Do you play…?
(教师做动作,让学生说 play….,)先全体学生,后让几个学生来说。说到最后一位同学时问Do you play football?) S: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
T: (教师连续问Do you play…? 学生回答),
同桌练习。Do you play….?多问几组
四、Consolidation
T: Good news! Look at the TV, please.
(课件展示,学校成立球类兴趣小组,请各位同学到组长处报名,每人限报一项。)
T: (教师示范两组) Do you play football?
S1: Yes, I do. S2: No, I don’t. S3: Yes, I do. S4: Yes, I do.
(教师就在表上把S1和S3,S4同学打上勾,S2和S4打上叉)

(学生比较兴奋,这时可以把比较冷门的 baseball拿出来,希望同学参与,如果人数少教师可以说 I like baseball.并且加入, 按照volleyball进行)
T: (做踢足球动作) play….
S: play football? (并且自动站起来)

五、Back to the text
T: (出示一张Mike 的图片) Who’s he?

(播放课文最后两幅图录音)
T: Let’s read it together!
(学生朗读,有时间的话可以生生间分角色朗读)
(随笔:学了词语、句型,并进行了反复操练后回到课文时学生就觉得比较简单了,应趁热打铁,把课文相关内容加以消化)
六、Homework
1. Ask your friends,your father, your mother, your aunt, your uncle “ Do you like/play….?”
2. Read the four balls and the text (picture3 and 4).
