Unit 7 A letter to a penfrie

教学内容:6B Unit 7 A letter to a penfriend  
教学目标:1、能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词:letter, penfriend, number.
          2、能听懂、会说、会读单词和词组:envelope, address, fax, machine, postcard, glue, writing paper.
          3、能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型:Can I have a/ an/ some/ the…? What for ? I want to… Sure, here.
4、初步了解用英文写信的基本格式。
教学重点:1、能正确地听、说、读写单词:letter, penfriend, number.和句型:Can I have…? What for ? I want to… Sure, here.
          2、能正确地听、说、读单词和词组:envelope, address, fax, machine, postcard, glue, writing paper.
教学难点:1、正确拼写读单词letter, penfriend, number.以及单词envelope,address,machine,glue的读音。并能掌握不可数名词glue,writing paper的用法。
          2、四会句型Can I have…? What for ? I want to… Sure, here.的正确运用。
教学具准备:多媒体课件,图片,实物,写好课题。
作业设计:1、copy the new words four times.
2、        Write some information about yourself.
3、        Preview Part A.
教学过程:
Step A Free talk
T: What day is it today?
What’s the weather like today?
T: Do you have any hobbies?
  What are they?
  What are you going to do this afternoon/ after school/this evening?
Step B Presentation
1、        教学单词a penfriend、an e-mail以及词组a telephone number,a fax machine扩展词组write an e-mail、e-mail address
接着刚才的Free talk,老师向学生提问
T:What am I going to do this evening? Please guess!
Ss:学生根据自己的想象来猜。
当学生回答You’re going to surf the Internet.时,教师向学生说明:
T:Yes, I ‘m going to surf the Internet. I am going to write an e-mail to an English boy. His name is Peter. Last Sunday, I receive an e-mail from him. Peter wanted to look for a penfriend in China.出示单词pen  friend→penfriend(笔友)。老师领读单词。
T:Do you want to be Peter’s pen friend.
Ss: Yes!
T: Look!Here is Peter’s information:
Name:      Peter White
Age:        12
City:       London
Family:     mum, dad, a brother and a sister
Hobbies:    listening to music and making model plane
E-mail:     whitepeter@london.com
Telephone:  44-207-86311245
Fax:       44-207-86311246
T: OK. You can write an E-mail to Peter. This is Peter’s E-mail address.
出示write an E-mail、E-mail address,领读,理解意思。
T: Look, this is Peter’s telephone number, 44-207-86311245.
出示词组a telephone number,领读,理解意思。
T: And this number is Peter’s fax number, 44-207-86311246. You can use a fax machine to send a fax to Peter.
出示词组a fax machine,老师领读,理解意思。
2、        教学单词an envelope, glue,及词组 writing paper
T:Liu Tao also received Peter’s e-mail. Now Liu Tao wants to write a letter to Peter. He wants to be Peter’s penfriend.(多媒体出示write a letter)
What does Liu Tao need for writing a letter to Peter? Guess!
Ss: 学生回答
多媒体出示图片,信纸、信封、胶水、邮票等
然后出示相应的单词教学。an envelope, glue,及词组 writing paper
老师领读,理解意思。
其中glue 和 paper是不可数名词,出示图片,让学生通过比较来掌握这两个不可数名词的用法。
some glue/a bottle of glue/ three bottles of glue
a piece of paper / two pieces of paper
3、        教学句型
T:Now Liu Tao is asking something for his mother. Look at the picture.
出示课文中的第一张插图
T: Now let’s listen to their conversation. What are they saying.
播放录音,听完一遍后教师多媒体出示本段对话内容。
Liu Tao: Mum, can I have some writing paper, an envelope and some stamps, please?
Mum:  What for, dear?
Liu Tao: I want to write a letter.
Mum:  Sure. Here you are.
教师板书句型:Can I have a/ an / some /the…?
              What for?
              I want to…
              Sure. Here you are.
老师领读以上句型。
老师拿出实物信封、信纸、邮票等,模仿刚才的对话进行操练。
T:Can I have some writing paper, an envelope and some stamps, please?
S:What for?
T:I want to write a letter.
S:Sure. Here you are.
然后再同桌操练。
Step C Practice
1、        T:Children’s Day is coming. Liu Tao wants to send a card to his good friend ,Tim. Look at this picture, what does Liu Tao want to have?
出示明信片的图片,教学单词postcard,老师领读。
学生看图,师生对话。指名几组学生说一说。
S1:Can I have a postcard?
T:What for?
S1:I want to write Tim.
T:Sure. Here you are.
2、        T:(出示Part C中图2、4、5、6 ,)Look at these pictures,do you know what does Liu Tao want to do in these pidtures.Talk to your partners about Picture 1.
学生同桌对话
T:Good,take out this paper,do exercise.
学生看图完成填空。(习题附后面)
学生读,交流答案。
Step D Play a game.
1、做一个“领材料”的游戏!
多媒体出示一些实物图片,和学生一起说说有哪些实物。老师扮演“材料保管员”,下面的学生可以向老师领取材料。
T: Now I have something, what do you want to do? You can ask me for something.
S1:Can I have …?
T: What for?
S1:I want to …
T: Sure. Here you are。
然后请一个学生到上面扮演材料保管员,其他学生领材料,再师生对话。
3、        接着四人一组,拿出准备好的实物,两人扮演材料保管,两人领材料,进行对话。再互换角色。
教师巡视。
Step E Homework
1、        Copy the new words four times.
2、        Write some information about yourself.
3、        Preview Part A.
