Unit 9 The English Club (A) 第一课时
一、 教学内容:牛津小学英语5B Unit 9 A 部分对话。
二、 教学目标:
1. 掌握“四会”单词 British French city visit 。
2. 掌握“三会”单词 visitor club New York different country Chinese UK USA 。
3. 掌握句型:… am/is/are from …

三、 课前准备:
1. 课文挂图、单词卡片、小黑板。
2. 课文中相关人物的头饰。
3. 录音机和磁带。
四、 教学过程:
Step 1 Warming up
(师生自由对华)
T: Hello, children. How do I spend my weekends ? Guess!
S: You…You…
T: Yes. Sometimes I …But I often go to the English Club.
I know a lot of friends. Do you want to join me ?
S: Yes.
T: OK. Let’s go.
(设计意图:教师以自由对话开始本课,首先将学生带进English语境中。对话的主题既是使学生有兴趣的猜测性话题,又复习了上个单元weekend 的相关内容,而且通过猜测老师怎样度周末,而引出了新课题“The English Club”。整个过程和李顺畅又不失激发兴趣。)
Step 2 Presentation
1. 教师出示“The English Club”的卡片。
T: The English Club is here . There are some children in it.
They are my new friends. Let’s know them.
教师请上带有头饰的几位学生。
T: They are from different countries.
(进行different countries的认读训练。)
T: My friends, introduce you to my students, please.
Nancy: Hello, boys and girls. I’m Nancy. I am from the UK. I’m British. I speak Chinese and English. Nice to meet you.
(通过Nancy David Ben Wang Bing Liu Tao的自我介绍,分别引出Chinese, the UK, the USA, British, French, city等新单词,及新句型⑴ …am/is/are from… ⑵ Do you speak ...? Yes, I do./No, I don’t. ⑶ I speak … .)
(设计意图:教师通过让学生扮演不同的角色,来引出新单词,一方面提高了扮演者的学习热情,另一方面也为新单词的出现创设了情景。)
2.T: We are the visitors. We visit the English Club.
We know some new friends. (引出visit visitor )
教师出示的Tony White图片.
T: Oh, a man is coming. He’s a visitor , too.
What questions do you want to ask him?
S: What’s his name?
教师边做出向Tony White 打招呼的动作边说
T: Hello, what’s your name, please?
S: Where’s he from?
T: Where are you from?
……
教师出示课前准备好的小黑板
T: Good questions. I have some questions, too.
They’re the same ones with yours.
Hello, what’s your name, please? Where are you from?
Where are you live now?
T: Listen carefully, he will answer us.
(放有关Tony White自我介绍的课文录音,引出New York)
(设计意图:让学生带着自己提出的问题来听录音,可以使其注意力高度集中,从而提高听的效果。)
Step 3 Practice
1. 全体学生跟随录音机朗读对话。
2. 自有朗读对话一遍。
3. 全班分角色朗读对话。
4. 完成有关对话内容的小短文。
There are ___children at the English Club. Tony White is a ___ . He is from ___ ___. Ben is from same ___. Wang Bing and Liu Tao are from ___. Nancy and David ___from ___ ___ . They’re ___. The children all speak ___ well.
(设计意图:对话要求整体认知,所以在对其进行朗读训练后,用一篇小短文来总结全文,有利于对整个对话的掌握。)
Step 4 Production
T: Today there are six visitors to our English Clubs.
Do you want to ask them any questions?
S: Yes.
T: Do you want to introduce you to them?
S: Yes.
T: OK. Now you can talk to them one by one.
(设计意图:这是整堂课中的拓展和应用环节,是所学知识的升华阶段。将六个visitor 分到六个小组中,尽量给每个学生提供机会,有能力的学生可以多展示一些,能力较弱的学生也可以只参与一两句的对话。这样,既照顾了全体学生,又给了优秀学生足够的展示平台。整个过程可以激起每个学生的成就感,进而更完美地去完成这一学习任务。)
Step 5 Summary
初识总结全文的小短文,全体朗读,结束本课。
Step 6 Homework
1. Read A 部分 three times.
2. Write a passage “My new friend”
教学反思:本课作为第一课时,以对话的整体认知为目的,所以对单词及句型的总结有些欠缺。本课中我认为的亮点是,以去英语俱乐部参观,及将俱乐部成员请到我们的英语俱乐部来做客为主线,把所学英语应用于实际中,使学生得到了真正的“实惠”。而本课中我认为的做大的遗憾是,结尾有些草草了事,如果能将A 部分中出现的有关国家、国籍、语言的单词融入到B 部分中,让学生找出本节课所学内容,再告知明天要学内容。这样既让学生巩固了今天所学内容,又使学生对新的知识有了更多的好奇心,为今后的学习打下了良好的情感基础。 |
