Teaching Aims:
(1)Listen and say: swimming; skating; fishing; running.
(2)Listen and say: Do you like …? Yes, I do.
Let's go … Good idea.
Teaching importance:
(1) Let the children communicate with others
(2) Invite someone to do the sports if he\she likes.
Teaching difficulty:
Improve the children’s communication.
Visual aids: two watermelons four swimming lifebelts six plates four fishing rods multimedia
Teaching Process:
Warming up:
(1) Greetings.
(2) Sing a song <We study and play>
Step 1 Lead in.
(1) Free talk.
The teacher makes the model:
1、What’s that on the desk?
2、What’s this in English?
3、 Do you like…?
Let’s go and play basketball .
(2) T: I play it, you count, OK? Look and say the numbers on the big screen. (2, 0, 0, 8 )
(3)Ask: what will be happen in 2008 in Beijing of China.?
There will be some sports here. (Show the pictures as quickly as possible.) Like: running, fishing, jogging, swimming, climbing, rowing, skating, skiing.
(4) Look at this picture, this is a stadium. There will be a sports meeting here. I’m very happy to hear that.
Step 2 Presentation.
(1) Divide the class into four groups named after the new words. Each group chooses one cartoon character.
(1) Look at the picture. What is he doing? He is swimming. I repeat it three times. Let the children read after me some times. Read one by one. Together. Read and do the actions.

Step 8 Survey
