A, Warm up
1, Sing a song “What are you doing?” 播放教学光盘

3、出示unit3&6的词汇卡片

1, 教授词组Play with a yo-yo
T：(PPT 出示图片让学生猜测) Is he playing the violin now?

T: (出示实物溜溜球，PPT学习单词yo-yo，强调中间那一个短横)
T：Can you play with a yo-yo ?

3、重复以上步骤学习词组play chess, 指导发音/e/，同时初步运用句型Are they…? Yes, they are./ No, they aren’t.
4, 巩固play 组成的三个词组，PPT呈现图片，让学生说出并拼写出单词chess, card, with, yo-yo . 达到单词的四会要求。
5，引出剩下的由read 组成的三个词组
T：（PPT出示三张图片）What are the doing?
S: They are reading.
T: What are they reading?
6，出示实物 报纸、杂志，运用PPT，结合一般疑问句Is he/she…? 学习单词和词组read a newspaper/ a magazine/a picture book
7, 巩固read 组成的三个词组，PPT呈现图片，让学生说出并拼写出单词magazine, newspaper, picture.
8, 把六个词组合起来复习一遍，出示词汇卡片，学生齐读两遍。
C、Consolidation
1, Play a game
PPT出示人物头像及活动所需物品图片
T：What is Nancy reading? Is she reading a …?(引导学生说出图片上三样物品)

(一学生上前看纸条上的答案)

2, 学生归纳，教师补充板书： + 动词ing
3, Work in pairs
出示图1，两学生朗读对话内容示范
出示图4、5、6 ，用句型Is he/she v-ing? Yes, he/she is. No,he/she isn’t. He/She is…进行同桌操练
学生分别回答图4、5、6 ，教师出示答案，全体学生齐读内容
出示图2，让两个学生试着示范回答，教师出示句型Are they v-ing ? Yes, they are. No, they aren’t. They are… 同桌根据句型操练图2、3
分组直接进行图2、3的问答，边说教师边出示答案内容。
