一、教学内容
牛津小学英语5B Unit 8 At the weekends   第一教时 课文 句型
一、        教学目标
A.        知识目标
1.能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词weekend  often   spend
2.  能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型
How do you spend your weekends? I often … sometimes I…
How does she/he spend his/her weekends?
He/she often…, sometimes he/she…
3. 能听懂、会说、会读和拼写词组 catch butterflies, watch cartoons
B.   能力目标
1.能够用所学的句型通过问答,了解别人如何渡过周末的相关信息。
2.能逐步让学生了解单词发音的规律。
3.培养学生说英语的自信心和口语表达能力.
C. 情感目标
1.培养学生乐于与他人进行交流、合作的品质。培养学生观察生活、热爱生活的品质。
三、教学重难点
1.会用句型号How do you spend your weekends? I often … sometimes I …   How does he/she spend his/her weekends? He/She often … sometimes he/she…来获取信息。
2. 能够正确运用动词的第三人称单数形式。
四、教学准备
   多媒体,练习纸,磁带2盒
五、教学过程:
   Step 1 Free talk
       Nice to meet you.
       What’s your name,please?
       Are you a boy ?   ( 引出of course)
Step 1 Lead in and presentation.
(出现人物头像和一些相关信息)
1.Name, job, favourite color ,favourite sport, hobbies
(目的:能够自然地引出单词sport, 能自然地复习到以前所学过的单词词组,爱好又能引出新句型。)
2.T: I often surf the Internet ,and I can learn a lot from it .sometimes I listen to music.
    What do you usually do ?
    What do you often do on Satursday and Sundays?
    What do you often do at the weekends? (屏幕出现)
T: I usually /often … at the weekends, sometimes I …
  There ‘s a new word here “weekend”.
  Saturdays and Sundays are the weekends
  呈现单词 ten pen end weekend     at the weekends
T: What do you usually do at the weekends?
S: I usually /often …,sometimes I…(也可以通过问老师来引出)
T:How do you spend your weekends?
S: I often …, sometimes I …
  呈现句子
  出现新单词 spend
ten pen weekend spend
  Spend your weekends
Step 2 Practice
.  出现句型和图片
  How do you spend your weekends?
  I often …, sometimes I ..
  八幅图
  Ask and answer , work in pairs, play dialogues
  ( 顺便引出第三人称单数)
  How does he/ she spend his/her weekends?
  He/She often …, sometimes he/she…
Step 3 presentation
  T: I have some studends. Look, How do they spend their weekends?
1.        Yangling
T: How does Yangling spend her weekends?
S: She often watches TV, sometimes she plays on the swings. (图先出来,点击之后再出来文字,第三人称单数用红色标注,有划线的词组可以由教师说出来)
2.David  
play cards     listens to music
3.SuYang ( 由图片遮挡的形式来引出新单词和词组)
T: How does SuYang spend her weekends?
S: She often catches  butterflies and watches cartoons
(图片先用问号遮挡,让学生来猜。然后在呈现新词组)
cat  Maths  catch       zoo  too  cartoon注重音标练习。
T: Look , they are my favourite cartoons. The Snow White and Tom and Jerry.

Step 4 Consolidation
  A. 1.听课文录音,Underline the key sentences。
2.根据课文内容,回答问题。
What are they talking about ?
How does WB spend his weekends?
How does SuYang spend her weekends?
   B  T: I will talk about my family . How do they spend their week ends?

Daughter : Draw pictures
         Play on the swings
Husband:  Surf the Internet  (He can learn a lot from it.)
         Clean the car

How do  WangBing ‘s family spend his weekends?
D.Talk about your family’s weekends with your partner.
How do your family spend their weekends?
Ask:         How do you spend your weekends/
              How does your father spend your weekends?
              How about your mother?
Answer:      I often …, sometimes I
             My father often …, sometimes he…
             My mother often …., sometimes she…
     Step 5. Assign homework
1.        Listen . imitate and read the text.
2.        Talk about your family’s weekends with your part
