——5B Unit8 At the weekends第一课时教学设计
一、 设计理念:
1. 师生互动,寓教于乐。让学生在和谐的师生关系中轻松愉悦地接受新知识,突破教学重、难点。
2. 精诚合作,以练促学。培养学生间合作解决问题的能力,以完成课堂练习,巩固教学要点。
二、教学目标:
1.能正确理解、掌握A部分会话,并能朗读、初步表演对话。
2.能正确运用对话中出现的日常交际用语I can learn a lot from it. Of course,I do.
3. 初步掌握会话中出现的四会单词、词组、句型talk,weekend,very,learn from,sport,often,spend,catch. How do you spend your weekends? How does he/she spend his/her weekends? I often….Sometimes I….
三、教学重、难点:句型How do you spend your weekends? How does he/she spend his/her weekends?及其答语。
四、教学准备:
A部分教学挂图,活动分析表,录音机、磁带。
五、教学过程:
Step1. Warming up
1. Free talk.
T:Nice to see you again,boys and girls.
Ss: Nice to see you,Miss Chen.
T:Who’s on duty today?
S:I am.Today is Friday.Everyone is here Today.
2. T:Oh,“weekend” is coming(新授单词weekend,揭题).Today we’ll learn Unit8 At the weekends.
(由师生问候引入交流的话题,并揭示课题,自然过渡。)
Step2.Presentation and drill
1. 师生交流周末活动,引导学生学习单词very, often, spend, course, Sometimes.
T:I like weekends very much.Because I can do many things at the weekends.I can watch TV、listen to music、surf the Internet and so on.Do you like weekends?
S:Yes,I do.
T:You can say another way“Of course,I do.”.
(生词“course”学习,自然过渡,并易于学生理解词意。)
T:Can you tell me what do you usually do at the weekends?
S:I usually….
T:How about you?
S: I usually….
T:You also can say “I often…”.
(启发回答)what do you often do at the weekends?
How do you spend your weekends?
S:I often….
(“教是为了不教”,在新授句型How do you spend your weekends?时层层递进,降低了学习难度,易于学生掌握。)
T:Do you want to know how do I spend my weelends?
Ss: Of course,I do.
T:You can ask me loudly:Miss Chen, How do you spend your weekends?
Ss: How do you spend your weekends?
T:I often….Sometimes I….
(适时让学生理解often和sometimes的用法,并进一步巩固生词“often”。)
2.学习句型How does he/she spend his/her weekends?
T:Well done,Please practise with your partner,then tell me how does your partner his/her weekends.(同桌间相互操练句型How do you spend your weekends?了解对方的周末活动,并自然过渡句型How does he/she spend his/her weekends?及其回答。此外,又复习了一般现在时主语为第三人称单数时动词的用法。)
(培养学生“倾听”别人发言的良好学习习惯。)
Step3.Say a rhyme:
英语教学中教师要根据小学生的特点和教学内容,把握好课堂教学节奏,要善于调节课堂教学氛围,使学生能随着积极的教学气氛进而不断地调节自己的学习积极性,保持旺盛的学习精力。需采用唱、游、演等活动,动静结合,在“动”中学。例如:
Surf,surf, surf the Internet.
Play,play,play basketball.
Go,Go,go climbing.
Do,do,do housework.
…
(通过歌谣的形式,让学生朗朗上口,便于记忆,让学习能力较弱的学生也能进一步巩固动词类词组,又能引入A部分课文内容的学习,过渡巧妙自然。)
Step4.Learn the text
i. T: Boys and girls,(出示挂图)Look at the children,what are they doing now? How do they spend their weekends?Let’s listen to the tape and answer the questions.
a. What day is it today? b.What are the students doing?
(让学生有目的性地听录音,培养学生良好的听力习惯。)
2.The students listen to the tape and try to understand the passage.(学生听引言部分的句子,试着理解句子并回答。)
3.Discuss the questions.(引出新授词组talk about。)
4.How do the students spend their weekends?Let’s listen to the tape completely and think over it.(让学生整体感知对话内容,总体描述课文中人物的一些周末活动。)
6. Read and fill in the form.(自读课文,小组合作完成表格。)

Step5.Consolidation.
T:Now Mike is telling his parents about his classmates’actions at the weekends.Please try to complete the passage.(根据课文内容完成短文填空。)
At the weekends,Wang Bing often surf the Internet, sometimes he swimming or Basketball.He likes .Helen likes TV,she and Yang Ling often housework.At home,the twins (双胞胎) often cartoons.Sometimes they butterflies in the park.
(通过此题,让学生进一步巩固课文内容,另一方面也巩固了一般现在时态中动词的第三人称单数的用法等。)
