这句话对吗？

There are three rolls of film on the table.这句话有错吗？
还有一个，They would like to buy things.对buy things提问是不是
What would they like ?

我认为是What would they like to do?因为前面有疑问词What,后面就得加do. 不知道其他同仁怎么认为？

我认为是What would they like to do?因为问的是所作的事情，要加do ；如果问的是物体，是What would they like? 不知道其他同仁的看法如何？
