There is no pears  here.应该用There's，而有学生用There are。怎样讲解更让学生理解这个问题呢？

单数有2种：1) There is no pear here.
                 2) There is not a pear here.
复数有2种: 1) There are no pears here.
                2) There are not any pears here.
所以，楼主 在你的句子中应该选择 “are”
