A:  Do you have any new subjects this term?
B:  Oh, we have two Computer studies in a week now.
  A:  Me, too.
B:  Who is your Computer studies teacher? Is it Mr Chen?
A:  I don’t know his name.  He is very tall. Today he is in a white shirt.
B:  Right. He is our English teacher, too. He looks handsome.
A:  Look! Is it Mr Chen? The man beside Miss Li ?
B:  Yes. Do you have a computer at home?
A:  No, I don’t. My cousin Jack has one. I often play it in his home with him.
  B:  Computer games?
A:  Me, too. But we shouldn’t play it too much. It’s bad for our eyes.
  B:  Yes. Thanks.

A:  I’m very glad to meet tomorrow.
   B:  Why?
A:  Tomorrow is Thursday. I like Thursday. I enjoy having the Art lessons, and in the afternoon we have two PE lessons.

A:  Shall we fly kites after school?
  B:  I’m afraid I won’t.
  A:  Why?
B:  I have too much homework to do. Can you help me ?
  A:  Anything difficult?
B:  I don’t like maths. Today we have a lot of.
  A:  I see. Anything else?
B:  Some Chinese homework: A big composition.
A:  A trouble for you, ha ha. But I can help you.
B:  I think I can do my PE homework first.
  A:  PE homework?
B:  Right.  Look! Table tennis, my new table tennis bat. Let’s go.

   A:  Hello, is that Mike?
B:  Yes, this is Mike speaking.
A:  Hello, Mike. I’m Sam. I’m ill at home today. Can you tell me the timetable this term?
   B:  OK.
A:  All the first lessons of the week are still Chinese.
   B:  Still so many?
A:  Er…yes. All the second lessons of the week except Friday are maths.
B:  How many English lessons do we have in a week this term?  Four?
A:  No, we have five English lessons every week. And we have a new English teacher.
   B:  A new teacher?
A:  Yes, Miss Brown, a lovely woman. The English lessons are on
B:  What about the Art lesson?
A:  The third and the fourth lessons on Monday are Art lessons. To me, Art is too dull.
B:  But I like it. How many PE lessons do we have in a week? Do we have 3?
A:  You are right. And … Excuse me. I have much homework to do. Shall I show you the timetable tomorrow?
   B:  All right.

   B:  Here you are.
   A:  Bye.
   ( At school)
A:  It’s time to have the computer studies. Why are you all here?
   B:  Computer studies?
C: We can't have the computer lesson today for the power is off.
D: Haha! You are both wrong. The first lesson of Wednesday is Computer studies. But today is only Tuesday.
   AC:   OH, I’m wrong.

(6)
My name is Susan. I’m a student of Jin Ling Primary School. I’m in Grade Five. I go to school on foot from Mondays to Fridays. Sometimes I go to learn playing the violin on Saturday mornings. I like Chinese and English. I don’t like maths, but every week we have more than 5 maths lessons. I think it’s very bored. Perhaps I’m not a bright girl. My two brothers like it. They often get high mark on it. This term we have a new subject, Computer studies. It’s an interesting subject. I feel I like it. I often like drawing houses, birds, and flowers on it. Miss Fen teaches us it. She is a pretty and kind girl. Time for bed now. Good night everyone!
