(一)warm-up
Greetings:
Ss: Stand up.
T: Class begins.
T: Good morning/afternoon, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning/afternoon, Miss 。。。
T: Sit down, please.
T: Hello. What’s your name,…?
Ss: Hi. My name is …
(二) Revision
“Who is he/she?”
T: Shows the picture of the 8 people.
Ss: Answer the question.
“What’s letter on the blackboard?”
T: Write A/a, B/b on the blackboard and ask students questions
Ss: Answer the question.
(三) Presentation and practice .
1 .T:Hello, boys and girls.I’m Miss Gu.
So I can say”My name is Miss Gu”
T:Hi, …my name is Miss Gu.
S:Hello,Miss Gu.
T Ask ‘Who’s good in our class?’
Ss: Answer ‘…’
T: Can you tell something about him/her? Why you think he/she is good?
S: Answer the questions.
T: Very good! ...is the best student in …aspect. So we can say he/she is a good student. Do you think so?
Ss: Yes.
T: So we can use ‘good’ to describe some students who do well in some aspects. Now please read ‘good’ after me.
Use the similar way to teach the new words: well, fine.

T:How are you?你身体怎么样?
You can say ”I’m fine, thank you”.
引出”I’m fine, thank you”.

S:I’m fine, thank you.
连锁问答。
S:How are you, Miss Xia.
请个别小朋友和老师对照。
