Unit 5 Review and check

一.
单元目标:
1

通过复习,能熟练地掌握1—4单元所学的单词。
2

能熟练的在情景中运用1—4单元所学的句型和日常交际用语。
3

能初步改编和扩充1—4单元所学的对话。
二.
分课时教学设计(本单元共分三课时)


第一课时:A部分
Teaching aims and demands:
1.
复习及巩固动词与副词的搭配。
2.
复习问句:Does he/she…? Yes, he /she does. No, he /she doesn`t.
3.
能正确掌握like + doing的形式。
Teaching aids: some pictures and a recorder.
Teaching steps:
1. Greetings.
2. Free talk.
Ask a boy or a girl: Do you have any hobbies? Do you like …?
Then ask the other students: Does he /she like …?
Help them to answer: Yes, he/she does. No,he /she doesn’t.
3. Play a game :Answer quickly
Ask a student to say a verb ,then see who can say an adverb. e.g. run
quickly .Have a competition .See which group can do better .
4. Show the pictures(1—4)and answer questions.
Does the boy…? Yes ,he does./No ,he doesn’t.
Does the girl …? Yes ,she does./No ,she doesn`t.
5. Fill in the blacks and check the answers .
6. Show the pictures (5—8)and answer questions :
Does he /she like …? Yes ,he /she does. / No ,he /she doesn`t . He /She
like …
7. Choose the right answers and check them in class .
8. Read all the sentences together and then ask some students to read them
in class .
9. Homework :
1. Recite the sentences in Part A.
2. Preview Part B and C.


第二课时 B C的第1小部分
Teaching aims and demands:
1.
复习及巩固一些常见疾病的名称。
2.
能熟练运用打电话的日常用语。
Teaching aids: some picture and a recorder.
Teaching steps:
1. Greetings.
2. Free talk.
Hello !
Hello, may I speak to …?
This is …speaking .
I`m sorry ,I can’t …
What`s wrong with you ?
I`ve got a …
I`m sorry to hear that .
3. Part C .Look at the picture .then read and complete the dialogue .Check
the answers in class .
4. Encourage the students to make up similar dialogues with the help of the
cards of Part B of Unit 2.
5. Every time when the students finish the dialogue,
ask the others :What`s wrong with ***?
He/She has got a …
6. Part B Look and write
I say :look at the pictures ,There are some patients in the hospital .
What`s wrong with them ?Talk about the pictures.
7. Write the correct words in the blanks and check the answers in class .
8. Homework :
1. Recite the dialogue .
2. Preview Part D.


第三课时 C部分的第2小部分和D部分
Teaching aims and demands :
1. Revise the names of the subjects .
2. Revise and use the important drill:
What does …usually do ?
He /She usually …
Traching aids :some cards ,picture and a tape recorder.
Teaching steps :
1. Greetings .
2. Free talk .
Ask the students :How many subjects are there this term ? What are they ?
Show the cards of subject to the students and help them to revise .
Then ask :What subject do you like ?What about your friend ? Do you like
art ?Why ? Help them to answer :Because they like drawing pictures .
Do you like PE ? Dou you usually play football and basketball after school?
Do you usually do housework at the weekends?
3. Look at the pictures .Read the passage below .
4. Complete the passage and check the answer in class .
5. Presentation
Ask some students :What do you usually do at the weekends?
I usually …
Then ask the others: What does …usually do ?
He /She usually

6. Part D .Look at the picture .
It is Saturday afternoon . What do the children and Helen`s family
usually do ?
Talk to your partner about them .
7. Encourage the students to make up a dialogue like this :
What does Helen usually do ?
She usually cooks .
What does Mike usually do ?
He usually takes photos ect .
8. Homework :
1. Recite the names of the subjects .
2. Copy the dialogues of Part D in Part D in their exercise books .
3. Finish off the workbook exercises .
