教学目的与要求:
1.能掌握四会单词shape, star;掌握三会单词square, circle, diamond, rectangle, triangle
2.能按四会要求掌握句型:What shape is ? Its a .
3.能用所学的句型进行交流,谈论一些物品的形状,培养学生合作学习的能力。
4.引导学生发挥想象力,尝试用所学形状画画,并能作简要介绍

教学重点:
掌握表示形状的六个单词和句型:What shape is ? Its a .

教学难点:
1.能理解和运用本课所涉及的一些表示形状的单词。
2.掌握 rectangle, triangle的正确读音。
3.能熟练地运用所学单词、句型谈论图画。

教学过程:
Step 1 Warm up
1. 欣赏歌曲Shapes
2. T: Hello, boys and girls.  I want to know something about you.
What’s your name?
How old are you?
What can you do?
What do you like?
Do you like drawing?
3. T: I like drawing very much. And I like drawing with shapes.(出示一些图画)
Do you like these pictures?
Do you like shapes?

Step 2 Presentation
1. T: Look! The shape of the clock is a circle.
教学单词:circle
2. 出示一系列圆形的物品,引导学生开火车问答What shape is it? It’s a circle.
3. 出示一个三角形,T: What shape is it? Is it a circle? It’s a triangle.
教学单词:triangle, angle
4. 出示两个三角形,T: How many triangles are there? S1: There are two. T: Look! A new shape! What shape is it? 变化triangle 成rectangle
教学单词:rectangle
5. Practice in pairs: What shape is it? It’s a triangle/ rectangle.
6. 用四根同样长短的木棒,搭成一个正方形,T: Look! I can make a new shape. Do you know what shape is it? If you don’t know, you can ask me.
相机教学单词:square
两两问答: What shape is it? It’s a square.
7. 变化四根木棒的位置,T: I can make a square. And I can make a diamond.
相机教学单词:diamond
8. T: Let’s make a diamond together.(手势表示)
T:What shape is it? Ss: It’s a diamond.
9. T: You’re so good. Let’s enjoy a song: Twinkle, twinkle, little star
10. 出示一颗星星,T: What shape is it? 引导学生尝试回答。(说得好的学生奖励一颗星星)

Step 3 Consolidation
1.        依次出示六种图形,T: What shape is it?引导学生回答,复习六个单词。
2. 同桌两人先利用牙签、线,拼出各种图形,然后讨论图形:What shape is …? It’s a ….最后交流对话。
3.        T: The shapes of different things are different.  Let’s say a chant:
Circle, circle. The ball  is a circle.
Star, star. The pencil sharpener  is a star.
Square, square. The box  is a square.
Diamond, diamond. The picture  is a diamond.
Triangle, triangle. The sandwich  is a triangle.
Rectangle, rectangle. The biscuit  is a rectangle.

Step 4 Presentation
1.        结合Chant, 示范:T: What shape is the ball? S1: It’s a circle.
2.        完成Look and answer.

Step 5 Consolidation
1.T: You know, I like drawing with shapes. Let’s talk about them.
出示: Look and talk
A: Look at this picture.
B: What’s in the picture?
A: There’s a …
B: Are there any shapes in the picture?
A: Yes, there are.
B: How many triangles are there?
A: There are … triangles.
B: How many circles are there?
A: There are … circles.
2.教师与一生示范house。
3.利用图片两两对话.
4.        交流。

Step 6 Assignment
1.找一找生活中的各种形状,用英语告诉父母、老师和同学。
2.用学过的图形画一幅画,并能把它描述下来。
