there + be 的就近原则！

There are a garden and three buildings near my house.
这道题实际上是要考核学生是否掌握了there be句型的就近原则，由于be动词后面紧接的是单数a garden，根据就近原则，不管后面有多少样东西，be动词都用is。
所以应该改成：
There is a garden and three buildings near my house.
当然了，如果有学生改成：There are three buildings and a garden near my house.我觉得也可以。
