Unit 1   The first day at school   (The first period)


一 教学内容:
1.能掌握词汇building, day, all, happy, glad, again等。
2.能正确运用对话中的日常交际用语。
3.初步理解和掌握课文第一段:It is the first day of the new term. All the students are back at school.They are happy to see each other again.

1.复习巩固四年级所学知识。
2.能掌握词汇building, day, all, happy, glad, again等。

1.Learn the new words and read the sentences.




2.Learn “a lot of”. Ss make phrases using “a lot of”.
3.Learn the new phrases. Make sentences using “There is/ are…”

4. Showing the picture of our school and talk about it in groups, then talk about it in class.

1.     进一步掌握句型Is /Are there ... ? There is/ are... . & How many ... are there?及其回答。
2.     能正确掌握词汇 a swing, a slide。
3.     熟读对话,并初步改编或扩充本单元所学的对话。


二 教学目标:
1.复习本单元所学的词汇。     
2.四会掌握句型Is there a…in the …?Are there any…in the …? 及其答语。  


三 教学重点和难点:
1.四会掌握句型Is there a…in the …?Are there any…in the …? 及其答语。   
2.正确灵活使用本单元所学的句型。

设计情景,有外宾参观我们学校,选几名学生做小导游,用There be句型介绍学校的情况。

S:There are two buildings in our school.There are twenty classrooms in our school.


B Presentation

1.T:Today we’ll vist Yang Ling’s newhouse.出示书中第一幅图,介绍背景。Yang Ling and her parents live in a new house.It is near the school. They like the new house very much.
2.T:Show the house.
3. 让学生上来指着屏幕上的图并描述新居的情况。
T:Is there a study/a kitchen/a dining-room in Yang Ling’s house?
Are there any bedrooms/reading rooms in it? How many bedrooms are there? 5出示Yang Ling卧室的图。

1.Learn the new words: live、parent,make phrases and read the sentences.
2. 复习单词a bathroom, a bedroom, a study, a kitchen, a dining-room, a sitting-room等。
3. Yang Ling’s house is big. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a study, a kitchen, a dining-room and a large sitting-room.学生试着说这句话,或分句描述。
4.S:Answer the questions.
5.学生学习单词 world及词组a map of the world, 顺便学习a map of China。


C Read and say

显示插图、并配有录音。

1.学生听整段对话,并模仿跟读两遍。2.学生分角色朗读对话。


D Consolidation

利用学生之间互不了解对方家居室情况而产生的信息沟展开问答,并编成小对话。

Make a dialogue.

C Consolidation

1.教师出示一幅房间图(有窗户的空的房间图)T:There’s a fridge near the window .T:There are two chairs near the fridge. Etc.2.学生二或三人一组用自己准备的图片说说、摆摆布置房间,并且编成对话练习。3.教师巡视全班,帮助有困难的学生。4.教师请几组上台表演。

1.S1 将冰箱的图片贴在图中响应的位置。学生在听听、做做的过程中完成整个居室的布置。
