第六单元Doing housework
教学内容：牛津小学英语5A第六单元，第一部分（A  Read and say）
教材分析:
本单元的核心内容是“做家务和做功课”,介绍了怎样打电话和重点句型What are you doing ?I’m/We’re… .What is sb doing ?He’s/She’s…和一些日常交际用语Is that…? How about…? Can you come and help me with my…? 等句型。本课要让学生了解现在进行时的概念和用法，并初步学会运用。　
教学目标：
（一）知识目标：
1能听得懂，会说，会读，会写do housework   sweep the floor  Maths    ring  help…with  等词。
2能听得懂，会说，会读句型What is /are…doing? He’s/She’s/I’m/We’re/They’re…
3能听地懂,会说和会读日常交际用语和句型Are you free now? How about …?
  Can you help …with…?
4通过听、说训练，进一步巩固打电话的方式。
5通过听说回答等练习，学会对背景语言的描述。
（二）功能目标：
学会运用所学的知识编对话。
(三) 情感目标:
      通过听说练，激发学生的学习兴趣，培养学生自主学习和运用语言的能力。
重点难点：
1. 教学重点：能正确理解、掌握对话内容，并能朗读、初步表演对话。
2．教学难点：能比较流畅的朗读对话，并能在掌握对话内容的基础上进一步表演对话；能够在打电话的情景里，联系以前所学的语言，正确运用现在进行时描述自己的情况，并询问他人的情况。 语言最本质的功能是在生活中交流和沟通。结合本节课的教学内容，通过创设情境，让学生在情境中理解。再给学生开口实践的机会，积极为学生创设自主学习和相互交流的机会，让学生在交流中理解、记忆、掌握。为了充分调动学生的学习积极性，体现学生的主体性，使他们变被动接受为主动学习，在教学中我以游戏的形式复习旧知，以电教化教学为主，让学生通过听别人打电话的方式学会语言交际。
教学过程及设计目的:
Step1 ：Free talk and revision
1.Greetings.
2.T: Hello, I’m your new teacher today. I’m Cindy.
I like singing. What do you like?
S: I like … How about you?
T: I like …
T: Good. I like singing. Let’s sing a song, OK?
课件出示歌曲并让学生做动作。（唱歌曲we can sing and dance）
Step2:
Presentation 1:
1.        (电话铃声响)
T: I am sorry.The telephone is ringing.
Teach: ring-ringing
课件展示一下对话：
T: Hello!
S: Hello! Is that Miss Shen ?
T: Yes.
S: What are you doing?
T: I am sweeping the floor. What are you doing?
S: I am watching TV.
T: OK. See you.
S: See you..
课件展示：Is that …?(你是…)
操练：Is that …
      Yes，speaking.
    学生开火车操练上述句型。（这里操练事先要和学生说好做打电话动作）
2、老师找一位学生a问：
  T: Hello! Is that B?
  A: No.
  T: Who is that speaking?
  A: This is A speaking.(事先要找一位学生配合好)
展示打电话用语：
Who is that speaking?
This is …speaking.

学生操练:
Hello! May I speak to …

（要求这一步学生要边说边配以动作）

通过课件来猜，运用句型What is he doing?
(make a model plane, sweep the floor, wash clothes, clean the table)
游戏结束后，通过最后三个游戏词组引出本堂课的课题：

板书时先出示：do housework 并教读，然后再写ing形式。
课件上呈现：      家务     housework
                  回家作业 homework
           do    我的回家作业 my homework （组词）

Step 3 课文教学
一、整体感知课文
T: Wonderful. Do you know Su Hai and Su Yang?
Now let’s listen to the tape and answer the following questions.
1.        Where are Su Hai and Su Yang?
What are they doing?
2.        Where is Nancy?
What is she doing?
（先课件呈现问题，然后再出现答案，在回答what is Nancy doing? ）
二、自学课文完成判断
1.(    )Su Hai and Su Yang are free now.(出现答案时教学：free)
2.(    )Su Hai is cleaning the windows.
3.(    ) Nancy is doing her homework.
4.(    ) Nancy needs help with her English.
5.(    ) It is Sunday afternoon.
三、复述课文内容
    Now we should learn Su Hai and Su Yang. We should help our parents do housework.
Step four:Cosolidation
Write a new passage according to the passage.
