教学准备:录音机,磁带,图片。
教学过程:
Step 1 Free talk
学生模仿课文自由编对话表演。
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1.出示上两节课用的图片,让学生进行现在进行时的一般疑问句的复习。
S1: Is she singing in the music room?
S2: No, she isn’t. She is playing the piano in the music room.
生生间互相练习。
2.T: Now, please open your books and turn to page 55. Let’s do exercise C.I’ll give you three minutes to work in pairs.
Keys: 2. A: Are they playing cards.
         B: No, they aren’t. They are playing chess.
   3.A: Are they playing with yo-yos?
       B: No, they aren’t. They are playing with marbles.
    4. A: Is he buying a storybook?
    B: No, he’s not. He is buying a picture book.
  5. A: Is he making a model plane?
    B: No, he’s not. He is making a model ship.
  6. A: Is she reading a newspaper?
    B: No, she’s not. She is reading a magazine.
3.给出书本第56页的四张图,让学生用一句话来描述。
T: Look at the pictures, then give me one sentence to describe it.
S: 学生给出各种描述。
T: Now open your books and turn to page 56, write them down.
Keys: 1. Mr Black is reading a newspaper in the study.
2.Nancy is watching TV in the sitting room.
3.Miss Li and her students are cleaning the desks and chairs in the library.
4.Mike and his friends are playing basketball in the playground.
Step3 Listen to the tape: Say a rhyme.
Step4 Listen and repeat
1.板书:five  kite  like  tiger
T: Who can read them?
S1: five kite like tiger.
T: Can you tell me how to pronounce “i”.
S: /ai/.
T: Good. Can you give me other words.
S: I, nice, nine, beside, behind, ride…
Read the sentence: We like the five tigers on the kite.
Step 3: Do some exercises
Do the exercises in the workbook.
Step5 Homework
1. Copy the new words.
2. Listen to the text and recite it.
3. Make up a dialogue like the text.

4.将人物和地点自由组合。

5.Show the picture of the text to the students. Look, Gao Shan meets Helen. They are talking about something. Let’s listen to the tape.
