The first Period
一.教学内容:
6B Unit 1 B、C部分 Look, read and learn. Work in pairs.
二.教学目标:
1. 能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词
older, younger, taller, longer, shorter, stronger, bigger, smaller, fatter, thinner, heavier, lighter.
2. 能运用所学的词汇进行交流:

T: Hello, boys and girls, happy new year! Welcome back to school, I wish you were happy in your holiday.
T: Now I tell you about my holiday:We had a big dinner at home on the 9 th of February. I wore the new clothes and bought a new mobile phone .the number is 56851912.We can’t play the fireworks so I watched TV at home with my family. We visited our relatives and friends on the 10 th of February.
T: Now can you tell me What you did at the Spring Festival?
B Revision
1. 教师出示B部分投影片,让学生根据图片的提示读单词,并用动作来表演这些单词。如: old, young, tall, longer…
2. 请学生根据图片找出这些单词中的反义词组。
C Presentation and practice
1. 学习形容词的比较级:(教学单词than比…)
A:long--longer (读音/ə/) This ruler is long. Is that ruler longer? Which ruler is longer?(更长)引出比较级。
让学生自己造句。如:my hair is long , is your hair long? Whose hair is longer.
B:short—shorter Use the ruler again.
C:old—older... (show the picture)
Use the sentences:who’s older than you? Who’s younger than you? Who is taller than you? Who’s shorter than you?( 提出short的意思有短的,也有矮的意思) Who’s stronger than you? Who’s fatter than you? Who’s thinner than you? (并分别用这些单词造句)
D:big—bigger (opposite) small—smaller
Use the eyes or the books.
E: heavy—heavier (opposite) light—lighter
Use the height or the school bag.
2. Practice the sentences
T:Who’s taller than you? 生答:xx is.
T: Yes. xx is taller than you.(注意介词than后面接宾格)
3.Work in pairs Practice by yourselves.
学生理解比较级的用法,并会在句子中使用。
D Practice and consolidation练习和巩固
1. 学生听录音,模仿跟读单词
形容词比较级词形变化规则:
1)直接在形容词后加-er ,例如:long --longer
2) 双写末尾的辅音字母,再加-er, 例如:big --bigger
3) 辅音字母加y 结尾的,变y为i , 再加-er .
4) 以e结尾的,只加-r
2. 活动:Look and write--- 根据教师的动作写出相应的单词及比较级。
3. 游戏:Listen and guess---教师任意说出一个单词,说出相应的反义词。如:short—long older—younger (要注意的是形容词的原形和比较级)
七.布置作业:
1.听录音,用正确的语音语调朗读本课词汇
2.抄写本课的单词及比较级形式。
3.选择其中的两组进行造句。(每组至少3句话)
八. 板书设计:
