四.教学步骤
Step One: Free talk
1. T:Good morning, boys and gils.
S: Good morning, Miss Fang.
T: Boys and girls ,I am your English teacher so I teach you English .
Who’s your Chinese teacher ? Who teaches you Chinese?
Who’s your Art teacher ? Who teaches you Art? Can he draw pictures well?
I am not an Art teacher but I like drawing pictures.( 课件, 展现上美术课图片)
2. (ppt)T: Look at my drawings, what’s this ?
S: It’s a football.
T: What shape is the football? (shape---she—cake)
S:It’s a circle. ( circle---bird )
T: What’s this?
S: It’s a sun. (sun—bus)
T: What shape is the sun?
S: It’s a circle, too.
T: What’s this?
S: It’s a moon.( moon—noodles)
T: Who can ask the shape about the moon?
S1:What shape is the moon?
S2:It’s a circle.
(两到三组)
3. T: Boys and girls, look, the football is a circle. How about the sun ?
S1-3: The sun is a circle.
T: How about the moon?
S1-3: The moon is a circle, too.
4. T: Look at the blackboard, how many circles can you see?
S: Three.
Step Two: Presentation
1. T: Circles are one of the shapes. Today we’ll learn something about shapes. (课件,呈现课题)
T: Unit 9 Shapes.
2. T: Boys and girls ,we are learn shapes, Miss Li, and her students are learning about the shapes, too. Listen and tell me No. What is Miss Li doing ? No.2 What are the students dong?(前言录音)
3. T: They are having an Art lesson. And we are having an English lesson. (呈现提示:课程首字母要大写)
No.1 Miss Li is teaching her students about shapes.
Learn “teach… about…”
No.2The students are learning how to draw them.
4. T: Watch the video and choose
1). What shape is the kite?
2) What shape is the bag?
3) What shapes are the sun or the moon?
A. circles B. rectangle C. square
5.Check the answer.
The kite is a square.
The bag is a rectangle.
The sun and the moon are circles.
Learn: square ----chair rectangle
Compare : square and rectangle
Say something about the squares and rectangles.

5. Ask and answer:

It’s a circle/rectangle/square.
Step Three: Text
1. Read the text after the tape.
2. Read together.
Teach the long sentence:
Come to the blackboard and show us how to do it..
a. 学会停顿;
b. 根据上下文猜测show的意思。
3. Read in roles.
Step Four: Consolidation
1. Look at the picture and say something about it.
2. Fill in the blanks.
3. Check the answer.
4. Introduce a friend –Mr Shape.

5.Try to write something about Mr Shape.
Step Five Homework
1,听磁带朗读课文至少三遍.
